Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and dependable Box Truck Driver to join our dynamic delivery team! If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy hands-on work, and have a passion for delivering exceptional service, this is the perfect opportunity for you to grow your career while making a positive impact every day!Duties<ul><li>Safely operate a box truck for local route deliveries, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations</li><li>Load and unload cargo using manual lifting techniques, pallet jacks, or forklifts as needed</li><li>Verify delivery orders and ensure accuracy of shipments before dispatching</li><li>Provide friendly and professional customer service during deliveries, addressing any questions or concerns</li><li>Plan efficient routes to optimize delivery times and reduce fuel consumption</li><li>Conduct routine vehicle inspections, report any maintenance issues promptly, and maintain cleanliness of the truck</li><li>Assist with warehouse tasks such as inventory management, moving goods within the facility, and preparing shipments for delivery</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Previous commercial driving experience with a valid driver&rsquo;s license suitable for operating a box truck or similar vehicle</li><li>Experience with route driving, load &amp; unload procedures, and courier services preferred</li><li>Familiarity with warehouse operations including heavy lifting, moving items, and using equipment like forklifts or pallet jacks</li><li>Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service in a delivery or courier role</li><li>Knowledge of safety protocols related to manual transmission vehicles and heavy lifting techniques</li><li>Ability to navigate using GPS or route planning tools effectively</li><li>Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and reliability in meeting deadlines</li></ul>Job Types: Full-time, Part-timePay: From $15.00 per hourWork Location: On the road
