We are seeking a hands-on and adaptable HR Business Partner (HRBP) to support our warehouse operations in Edgewater Park, NJ. This role serves as a trusted advisor to both leadership and frontline employees, driving HR initiatives that support operational goals and employee engagement. The ideal candidate has strong generalist experience, thrives in a fast-paced warehouse environment, and is comfortable supporting multiple shifts (day, swing, or night) as business needs require.

<h3 class="jobSectionHeader">Key Responsibilities</h3>

Strategic HR Partnership
<ul>
<li>Serve as a key HR contact for warehouse leadership, providing guidance on performance management, employee relations, staffing, and engagement initiatives.
</li>
<li>Partner with operations leaders to align workforce planning, staffing, and retention strategies with business goals.
</li>
<li>Support a positive and productive workplace culture through proactive communication and engagement programs.
</li>
</ul>Employee Relations &amp; HR Compliance
<ul>
<li>Advise managers on employee relations matters and ensure fair, consistent application of company policies.
</li>
<li>Conduct investigations and recommend appropriate corrective actions as needed.
</li>
<li>Support compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws, including recordkeeping, attendance, and training documentation.
</li>
</ul>HR Operations &amp; Systems
<ul>
<li>Maintain accuracy in HRIS systems (e.g., PeopleSoft or similar), including onboarding, data changes, and terminations.
</li>
<li>Partner with payroll and timekeeping teams to ensure accurate reporting and timely resolution of discrepancies.
</li>
<li>Assist with benefits administration, open enrollment, and employee questions.
</li>
</ul>Talent &amp; Performance
<ul>
<li>Support recruiting efforts by partnering with hiring managers and assisting with interviews, onboarding, and new hire orientations.
</li>
<li>Track and analyze HR metrics such as turnover, headcount, and absenteeism to identify trends and recommend actions.
</li>
<li>Facilitate performance evaluations, development planning, and succession readiness discussions.
</li>
</ul>Employee Experience &amp; Engagement
<ul>
<li>Act as a trusted resource for employees, providing guidance on benefits, policies, and professional development.
</li>
<li>Participate in safety meetings, employee recognition programs, and site-level engagement initiatives.
</li>
<li>Collaborate with regional HR and corporate teams on cross-site HR projects and process improvements.
</li>
</ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader">Basic Qualifications</h3>
<ul>
<li>1+ years of Human Resources experience or related HR support role.
</li>
<li>Comfortable working in a warehouse or logistics environment.
</li>
<li>Flexibility to support various shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, or overnights.
</li>
<li>Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
</li>
<li>High school diploma or equivalent.
</li>

<ul>
<li>Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
</li>
<li>2+ years of HR generalist or HRBP experience in logistics, manufacturing, or warehouse operations.

<li>Experience using HRIS and payroll systems.
</li>
<li>Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
</li>
