We are seeking a Community Manager to lead our team at J Rivelle, a brand-new, luxury lease‑up community in Arlington, VA
J Rivelle is a 442 unit, 27-story mixed-use luxury high-rise located at the foot of the iconic Key Bridge, connecting Northern Virginia and the fashionable Georgetown neighborhood of Washington, DC. Residences feature top-of-market finishes including floor-to-ceiling windows and private balconies boasting unimpeded views. A glass skybridge connects the two residential towers which features a clubroom with full kitchen, private dining room, fireplace, gaming area&mdash;and sweeping views. The rooftop offers a resort-style pool, entertainment deck, and a 270-degree observation deck with unobstructed views of the nation&rsquo;s capital, National Cathedral, and Potomac River.
The primary objective of the Community Manager is to supervise all phases of on-site operations, including the hiring, management of job performance and training of onsite staff. 
 
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:<ul><li>
Motivates staff.</li><li>
Manages hiring and when necessary, termination of onsite staff.</li><li>
Determines transitions and promotions for on-site staff.</li><li>
Handles emergency situations.</li><li>
Develops and implements new strategies and programs designed to ensure long-term residency.</li><li>
Oversees collection of revenue and handles delinquent accounts.</li><li>
Performs regular inspections of the apartment community.</li><li>
Handles evictions and landlord liens.</li><li>
Adheres to and implements all company policies.</li><li>
Audits lease files.</li><li>
Implements scheduled rent increases.</li><li>
Oversees payment of invoices.</li><li>
Assists in budget preparation.</li><li>
Monitors parking lot for unauthorized vehicles.</li></ul>
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:<ul><li>
High School Diploma or equivalent required.</li><li>
Minimum of 1 year of property management experience in a managerial (Community Manager) capacity required.</li><li>
Previous lease-up experience is preferred</li></ul>
