What You Should Know About the Certified Coder/Abstractor:<ul><li>
Typical Hours: Monday- Friday from 8:00 a.m.- 4:30 p.m.</li><li>
This position is based within Jefferson Regional Health Information Management</li></ul>
Job Summary:
The Certified Coder/ Abstractor is responsible for analyzing patient records and assigning appropriate diagnosis and procedure codes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with coding guidelines and industry best practices.
Certified Coder Abstractor Qualifications:<ul><li>
High School diploma or equivalent required.</li><li>
Technical Diploma or Associate Degree in Healthcare, Healthcare Information Management or Administration, or other related field preferred.</li><li>
One or more of the following:<ul><li>
Certified Professional Coder (CPC)</li><li>
Certified Outpatient Coder (COC)</li><li>
Certified Inpatient Coder (CIC)</li><li>
Certified Coding Specialist (CCS)</li><li>
Certified Coding Specialist Physician Based (CCS-P)</li><li>
Certified Coding Associate (CCA)</li></ul></li><li>
Completion of a credentialed Coding/Abstractor education program required.</li><li>
Minimum Requirements:<ul><li>
Excellent reading comprehension</li><li>
Excellent communication skills, written/verbal</li><li>
Ability to be flexible with regulator/payer changes</li><li>
Must be capable of working independently and able to complete all tasks correctly and completely with minimal supervision</li><li>
Competent with computers and able to learn and adapt to software implementations, changes, or any other updates that require a pivot in daily workflow</li></ul></li><li>
Preferred Requirements:<ul><li>
Minimum 2 years coding experience in an acute care setting</li></ul></li></ul>

This position is based within Jefferson Regional</li><li>
In this unique setting, daily interactions with a diverse clientele, including hospital staff, physicians, and visitors, are expected.</li></ul>
Job Summary<div>
Preparing and serving hot and cold beverages, including various types of coffee and tea. Processing orders efficiently and accurately and handling monetary transactions/reporting. Keeping service and dining areas clean and well-stocked. Strict adherence to health and safety guidelines. Delivering high quality customer service and handling complaints professionally.</div><div></div> 
Barista Qualifications:<ul><li>
High School diploma or equivalent</li><li>
Previous experience as a Barista or a similar role is preferred</li><li>
Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills</li><li>
Familiarity with brewing methods, ingredients, and equipment</li><li>
Relevant training is a plus.</li></ul>
