Successful candidate(s) may perform any of the following duties:
<ul>
<li>Operate small and large machines in the production of doors &amp; windows</li>
<li>Work on door &amp; window assembly lines</li>
<li>Inspect all product for quality</li>
<li>Machining products for hardware installation</li>
<li>Material preparation and material handling</li>
<li>Staging and packaging finished product for delivery</li>
<li>Other general warehouse duties as needed</li>
</ul>
Special Requirements:
<ul>
<li>Commercial machine operator experience</li>
<li>Past experience in commercial woodworking (doors, millwork, cabinets, etc.)</li>
<li>Past experience in manufacturing or warehouse environment</li>
<li>General knowledge of building materials</li>
<li>Can perform simple math and use basic hand-held measuring tools</li>
<li>Works well in a fast-paced, TEAM environment</li>
<li>Good communication skills both verbal and written</li></ul> 


Previous experience in a manufacturing or similar environment is preferred, but not required.

Depending on assignment, our team members may do any of the following duties in a safe environment:

<li>Operate small and large machines in the production of doors &amp; windows</li>
<li>Work on door &amp; window assembly lines</li>
<li>Inspect all product for quality</li>
<li>Machining products for hardware installation</li>
<li>Material preparation and material handling</li>

<li>Other general warehouse duties as needed</li> 
</ul>

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:</h1>

The physical demands described here are representative, but not all inclusive, of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Ability to stand for minimum 8 hours per shift. The employee must occasionally and/or frequently lift and/or move stock, materials and unfinished and finished production oriented materials in and near their work areas that weigh between 10 and 75 pounds. Reasonable accommodations under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) will be reviewed and considered on a case-by case basis.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:</h1>

While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be frequently exposed to fumes, airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and machines, vibrations and loud noises. All safety protocols including OSHA guidelines as mentioned above are mandatory.

KNOWLEDGE AND/OR ESSENTIAL SKILLS:</h1>

High School Diploma or GED; The ability to perform Entry Level, repetitive type assembly functions using hand or power tools, and applicable machinery and equipment to assist in the assembly of the JELD-WEN product line; The ability to work in a manufacturing and fast paced environment; Very energetic and enthusiastic; Reliable transportation, punctual and dependable; Responsible attitude; Team player; Safety conscious; Results driven; Must be able to work overtime as needed.
