This role demands someone who can handle complex data at scale. You'll work across multiple issue tracking systems, each with different data models and quirks, processing millions of issues for hundreds of customers. You need to design systems that can classify and aggregate work efficiently, build data pipelines that handle the volume, and apply LLMs in ways that work at scale. Strong backend engineering skills, experience with complex data modeling, and curiosity about building production LLM systems and AI infrastructure are essential.

Enough experience with frontend frameworks, such as React, to be able to pitch in from time to time to move a project forward or troubleshoot issues.</li><li>
Strong skills in data modeling in relational database systems and experience with and interest in other database technologies such as columnar systems.</li><li>
Experience working with Large Language Models and Amazon&rsquo;s Bedrock and Sagemaker environments.</li><li>
Fluency with tools such as Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, Kiro and a track record of using them to build and ship fast.</li><li>
Have worked in or interested in a growth-stage startup</li><li>

Senior Backend Engineer, AI Systems

<div>Jellyfish's engineering team is solving one of the hardest problems in engineering operations: understanding how teams actually organize themselves and deliver work. To help us get there, we're looking for a senior backend engineer who loves untangling complexity and building systems that scale.
You'll join a tight-knit team of senior engineers working to map the real structure of our customers' engineering organizations. Teams don't organize the way org charts suggest. Projects span multiple teams. Dependencies create hidden bottlenecks. Your job is to build the capabilities that let our product represent team configurations as they actually exist. This means finding pragmatic solutions&mdash;the right abstractions that capture 80% of the problem. Aspire to handle the complexity, but don't fall into the completionism trap. The goal is customers seeing their organization clearly and understanding how teams are performing and projects are progressing.
This role demands someone who can navigate complicated data models, trace dependencies across systems, and design solutions that are both powerful and maintainable. You'll work with data from project management tools, version control systems, and collaboration platforms to build a complete picture of how engineering work flows through an organization.

Senior Backend Engineer - APIs, Data, and Scale

<div>AI tools are transforming how engineering teams work. AI code review tools like Greptile and Cursor Bug Bot are helping engineers catch more issues up front. AI coding assistants like Claude, Windsurf, and Cursor are helping engineers write higher quality code faster. Jellyfish is building the tools to measure that transformation. We're looking for a senior backend engineer excited to explore this space and define how we measure engineering productivity in the AI age.
You'll join a team operating in uncharted territory. AI coding assistants are transforming how engineers work, but it&rsquo;s not clear how to measure the impact yet. Your job is to help figure that out. You'll build features that capture AI adoption patterns, measure productivity changes, and help leaders understand what's actually improving outcomes versus what's just hype.
This role demands someone who can move quickly without perfect information. You'll work from light specs because we're discovering the right solutions as we build. You&rsquo;ll interact with top engineers from OpenAI, Amazon and other top-tier players as we work together to build integrations into the Jellyfish product. You need to deeply understand the business problems you're solving, not just implement requirements. Strong backend skills matter, but so does curiosity about AI's impact on software development and the ability to think through measurement challenges from first principles.

Senior Backend Engineer - AI Integration Discovery

Jellyfish is seeking a motivated and results-driven Programmatic Manager to lead and execute programmatic advertising campaigns, with a strong emphasis on Real-Time Bidding (RTB) operations. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute meaningfully to a rapidly expanding area of the business and to help shape programmatic excellence for key client accounts across global markets.

Key Responsibilities<ul><li>
Lead programmatic campaign setup, optimization and execution across RTB and DSP platforms, ensuring performance excellence and continuous improvement.</li><li>

What We&rsquo;re Looking For<ul><li>
5+ years of hands-on experience in programmatic advertising and display media, preferably within an agency environment.</li><li>
Demonstrated expertise in programmatic ecosystem fundamentals, including RTB, DSPs, ad networks, attribution models, and related technologies (Google Marketing Platform experience a plus).</li><li>
Strong passion for analytical problem solving and creative innovation.</li><li>
Experience planning and managing campaigns across diverse geographies such as APAC, US, and UK.</li><li>

Reporting to Paid Search Director , you will create impact within our Paid Media Capability.As Paid Search Executive, the day-to-day steward of paid search media for assigned brands, overseeing campaign strategy, execution, and optimization. This role is responsible for driving performance through data-driven insights, innovative search activation, and collaboration across teams and partners.We are looking for an organized, analytical, and proactive problem-solver.
