Position Summary</h3>
Under the direction of the Dean of Nursing, the Associate Dean of Nursing plays a key leadership role in supporting the overall student experience. This position is responsible for creating and maintaining a safe, healthy, and supportive environment that promotes student success, academic progression, and professional development within the nursing program.
The Associate Dean works closely with students, faculty, and campus leadership to support retention, graduation outcomes, and NCLEX preparation.<h3 class="jobSectionHeader">
Key Responsibilities</h3>
Student Mentorship &amp; Support<ul><li>
Serve as a mentor and resource for nursing students throughout their academic journey.</li><li>
Provide guidance related to academic progression, professional development, and institutional policies.</li><li>
Meet with students to discuss course-load adjustments, extended leaves, and course drop requests.</li></ul>
Student Success &amp; Retention<ul><li>
Develop campus-specific initiatives to improve student retention and graduation rates.</li><li>
Coordinate tutoring, academic support services, and counseling resources.</li><li>
Oversee end-of-term student advising, including support for students repeating courses and creating revised academic schedules.</li></ul>
NCLEX Preparation &amp; Academic Support<ul><li>
Oversee NCLEX preparation initiatives and track student performance outcomes.</li><li>
Coordinate tutoring programs, study groups, and academic support services.</li><li>
Develop and implement individualized remediation plans for students needing additional support.</li></ul>
Student Services &amp; Admissions Support<ul><li>
Manage processes related to graduation and NCLEX preparation resources.</li><li>
Participate in the admissions process, including applicant interviews, evaluations, and recommendations.</li></ul>
Leadership &amp; Collaboration<ul><li>
Foster an environment that supports both student and faculty academic growth.</li><li>
Collaborate with faculty and campus leadership to support student success initiatives.</li><li>
Perform faculty responsibilities as needed and other duties as assigned.</li></ul></div><div><h3 class="jobSectionHeader">
Required Qualifications</h3>
Education<ul><li>
Master&rsquo;s degree or higher in Nursing required</li></ul>
Licensure<ul><li>
Current Registered Nurse license in the state</li></ul>
Experience<ul><li>
Minimum of 2 years of experience in education or academic leadership</li></ul>

Assistant Dean of Nursing - Student Affairs

<div>Information:
The Nursing College Clinical Site Liaison is responsible for managing the practicum experiences (both direct supervision and preceptorships) for our Practical Nurse and Registered Nurse programs. The Nursing College Clinical Site Liaison will actively promote the mission, policies, and procedures of the institution while preserving the professional relationship with each clinical facility. 
The primary responsibilities of the Nursing College Clinical Site Liaison, who must be a Registered Nurse, include but are not limited to, the management of the clinical relationship, overseeing and coordinating clinical experience schedules, conducting observational visits to each facility, interfacing with preceptors and facility representatives, and reporting all events associated with clinical experiences.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Securement of New Clinical Sites</li><li>
Maintenance of Existing Clinical Sites and Contracts</li><li>
Audit and Verification of Student Medical Documents Job Responsibilities</li><li>
Manage and develop clinical relationships with Chief Nursing Officers, Directors of Nursing and other administrators</li><li>
Develop and implement orientation program for clinical faculty members and students to facilities and our practicum policies and procedures</li><li>
Mentor new clinical instructors through the first rotation</li><li>
Collect, review, and audit preceptor and clinical documents</li><li>
Conduct debriefs with preceptors before and during clinical experiences</li><li>
Oversee and conduct observational clinical site visits</li><li>
Collaborate with program chairs in the planning, implementing and evaluating our clinical experiences</li><li>
Schedule relief coverage in absence of clinical instructor in coordination with program chairs</li><li>
Keep one's own Registered Nurse license current</li></ul>
Skills and Abilities
<ul><li>Associates or higher degree in nursing; BSN preferred</li><li>
