Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and safety-conscious Commercial Driver's License (CDL) A Truck Driver to join our family here at Jet Trucking. We are a small family based company that runs locally and otr. We are looking for hazmat drivers and general freight drivers.We have multiple route options available. If you prefer to be home nightly, we have that option. If you have hazmat, we pull cng tankers from Elgin, SC to Georgetown, SC (training for this will be provided if you have your hazmat endorsement.)Contact us via email to inquire about open positions.Responsibilities<ul><li>Safely operate CDL A tractor-trailers and specialized trucks such as refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks across assigned routes</li><li>Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations</li><li>Deliver freight accurately and on time while adhering to all traffic laws and safety guidelines</li><li>Manage route driving efficiently, optimizing delivery schedules for maximum productivity</li><li>Secure cargo properly to prevent shifting or damage during transit</li><li>Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery status, route changes, or vehicle issues</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record</li><li>Hazmat endorsement preferred, but not required</li><li>Experience operating manual transmission trucks preferred but not mandatory; training available for qualified candidates</li><li>Minimum of 1 year driving experience</li><li>Familiarity with various truck types including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, is highly desirable</li><li>Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety procedures for commercial driving</li></ul>Join our team as a CDL A Truck Driver and become an essential part of our logistics network!
