Clinician &ndash; Mental Health Diversion Program Support individuals living with serious mental illness as they navigate the justice system and transition into community-based recovery. As a Clinician in the Mental Health Diversion Program, you will complete clinical assessments, develop treatment plans, and coordinate services for justice-involved participants in Atlantic and Cape May Counties. This program connects individuals with behavioral health treatment, recovery supports, and essential community resources as an alternative to incarceration.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Conduct psychosocial assessments, diagnostic screenings, and clinical evaluations</li><li>Develop individualized treatment and service plans based on participant needs</li><li>Provide clinical interventions including Positive Behavioral Supports, Motivational Interviewing, and crisis intervention</li><li>Monitor participant progress and adjust treatment recommendations as needed</li><li>Communicate regularly with courts, probation, prosecutors, defense counsel, and treatment providers</li><li>Facilitate referrals to housing, employment, education, and other wraparound services</li><li>Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, case conferences, and court hearings</li><li>Maintain timely and accurate documentation in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) and county databases</li><li>Support program reporting, data collection, and quality assurance activities</li><li>Uphold confidentiality, agency policies, and professional ethical standards</li></ul>Position Requirements:<ul><li>Master&rsquo;s degree in Social Work</li><li>Active New Jersey LSW in good standing</li><li>Minimum 1 year of clinical or case management experience in behavioral health, correctional, or community settings preferred</li><li>Experience working with individuals with co-occurring mental health and substance use needs required</li><li>Experience in diversion, reentry, or alternate sentencing programs strongly preferred</li><li>Valid NJ Driver&rsquo;s License required</li></ul>At JFS, you&rsquo;ll be part of a passionate, diverse team that&rsquo;s been making a real difference in the community for nearly 100 years.
