<div><div>The candidate for PF and Statutory Compliance operations will play a key role in managing the compliance team&rsquo;s operations and ensuring adherence to all statutory requirements, with a focus on Provident Fund (PF) and related employee benefit schemes.</div>

</b></h3><ul><li>Managing PF queries with quality &amp; timely response</li><li>
Maintain the tracker of all PF requests and ensure timely resolution</li></ul><ul><li>
Managing statutory consultants to ensure Compliances.</li><li>
Represent company in any PF inspection &amp; handling Audit documentation.</li><li>
iaison with vendors and PF offices to speed up and timely resolution of PF requests &ndash; name change, ECR, partial withdrawal, pension, International worker
</li><li>Maintain repository of PF, ESIC and other compliances registration/renewal documents
</li></ul><ul><li>To handle employee&rsquo;s grievances solution if any on daily basis on Exit process</li><li>
Taking care registration of CLRA, Shop Establishment, Trade License, Professional Tax &amp; LWF and the renewal as per the applicability.
</li><li>Tracking timely submission all statutory returns under the various Labour Laws.
</li><li>Tracking the record of Vendor compliances and timely follow up for the same.
</li><li>Preparing compliance reports in excel as well as power point Compliance Portal and Apprentice NAPs / NATs Portal Management</li></ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Skills &amp; Attributes for success
</b></h3><ul><li>Strong knowledge of PF, ESIC, Gratuity, Professional Tax &amp; other Compliance Acts</li></ul><ul><li>
Practical knowledge of PF, ESI, Shram Suvidha Portal.
</li><li>In depth knowledge of PF transfer and Withdrawal rules success</li></ul><ul><li>
Ability to identify gaps in current process and help drive first time right process</li><li>
Ability to monitor consultants&rsquo; performance standards &amp; push for consistent improvement</li><li>
Strong in systems as well as excel knowledge</li><li>
Good communication skills &ndash; Written and verbal both

Senior Associate - Compliance operations (Contractual)

Lawyer for handling content in JioHotstar. The role involves providing expert legal counsel on a wide array of transactional and regulatory matters.</div><div></div><div><b><br>
Key Responsibilities</b></div><div><b>
1. Transactional / Contracts</b></div><div>
The role requires being responsible for the entire lifecycle of various commercial transactions. This includes structuring, drafting, negotiating, and closing a wide range of agreements, including the following:</div><div>
o <b>Content License Agreements:</b> Securing the rights to content from third-party producers and distributors.</div><div>
o <b>Production Agreements:</b> Managing legal aspects of content creation, including co-production and commissioning deals.</div><div>
o <b>Format Agreements:</b> Licensing the rights to show formats and intellectual property.</div><div>
o <b>Marketing Agreements:</b> Negotiating and finalizing agreements for promotional campaigns.</div><div>
o <b>Artist/Talent Agreements:</b> Drafting contracts for on-screen talent, artists, and other creative professionals.</div><div>
o <b>Music License Agreements:</b> Acquiring the necessary rights for the use of music in content.</div><div><b>
2. Regulatory Understanding</b></div><div>
A core part of this role is having a deep and practical understanding of the digital media and technology space, with a specific focus on the regulatory framework in India, and staying current on evolving laws, guidelines, and industry standards in India and globally. This includes being familiar with:</div><div>
o <b>IT Act &amp; Rules:</b> Regulations governing digital platforms, content and grievance redressal.</div><div>
o <b>Intellectual Property Laws:</b> Protection of copyrights, trademarks, and other proprietary assets.</div><div>
o <b>Data Privacy &amp; Consumer Protection:</b> Ensuring compliance with relevant data protection and consumer rights laws.</div><div>
o <b>AI Use in content:</b> Ensuring use of artificial intelligence is secure and in compliance with law.</div><div></div><div><b><br>
Skills &amp; Attributes for success</b></div><ul><li> Good organizational and interpersonal skills, including ability to work effectively within a team and a fast-paced dynamic business environment.</li><li> Strong drafting and negotiating skills, commercial deal making skills and good understanding of copyright and general contract laws.

Be a part of the Regional GEC (Tamil and Gujrati) business legal team and provide legal support on channels assigned</div><div></div><div><b><br>
Key Responsibilities</b></div><ul><li> Draft, review Programming related Agreements such as Production Agreements, Artist Agreements, Music License Agreements, Content Acquisition Agreements (Films and Programs), Marketing Agreements, Leave &amp; License Agreements, slot sale agreements and all other miscellaneous agreements. Also, draft amendment agreements, extension letters for all existing documents.</li><li> Conduct due diligence of movies to be acquired.
</li><li> Providing legal assistance related to legal cases from time to time.</li><li> Do legal research.</li><li> Drafting rules and regulations for all the marketing contests for consumer engagements and activities which are held on our channels, from time to time; all documents pertaining to reality shows.</li><li> Draft legal notices/responses etc. from time to time.</li><li> Assist in litigation pertaining to the business and brief counsels on all such legal matters</li></ul><div></div><div><b><br>
KEY SKILLS</b></div><ul><li> Demonstrate (hands on experience) in contract drafting, good negotiation, and execution skills i.e., ability to draft, negotiate and close transactions independently
</li><li> Good contract drafting skill sets.</li><li> Good knowledge of Contract Act 1857, Copyright Law and Trademark laws, Cable Television Networks (Regulation) Act1995, TRAI Regulations</li><li> Well versed with various content regulations such as the Self-Regulation Code framed by the IBF and the BCCC Guidelines, the ASCI, NCPCR guidelines, should have excellent research skills</li><li> Good communication skill sets required.</li></ul><div></div><div><b><br>
Preferred Education &amp; Experience</b></div><ul><li> LLB Graduate</li><li> Minimum 5 years of relevant experience</li><li> Experience of working in media industry/ media companies/ production houses/ music label is preferred</li></ul>
