The Leadership and Development Specialist is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing comprehensive leadership training programs tailored to meet the organization&rsquo;s needs. They will conduct engaging training sessions and assess training effectiveness through various evaluation methods. Collaborating with HR and department heads, they will help to identify leadership development gaps and provide targeted coaching and mentoring solutions to current and emerging leaders. The specialist will oversee logistical aspects of training, stay updated with industry trends, and partner with any external vendors for specialized programs. Additionally, they will support succession planning, promote a culture of continuous learning, and effectively communicate available development opportunities to employees.
</div>Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Develop or procure high-quality training content, including manuals, workbooks, presentations, and other educational resources.</li><li>
Assess and analyze training needs though surveys, interviews with employees, focus groups, and/or consultation with managers, instructors, and others.</li><li>
Own assigned components of enterprise leadership development programs, ensuring high-quality execution across planning, logistics, participant engagement, and stakeholder communication.</li><li>
Support the design and enhancement of leadership curricula, incorporating adult learning principles, organizational competency frameworks, and feedback from program stakeholders.</li><li>
Facilitate or coordinate delivery of workshops, learning sessions, and development experiences, partnering with internal SMEs and external facilitators to ensure consistent learner experience.</li><li>
Evaluate program effectiveness through data collection, analysis, and reporting; translate insights into actionable recommendations to strengthen program outcomes and participant impact.</li><li>
Maintain the unit's training calendar and curriculum, coordinating course planning and enrollment.</li><li>
Develop and implement post-training assessments and modify delivery methods/documents as needed.</li><li>
Provide one-on-one coaching to current and aspiring leaders to enhance their skills and career development.</li><li>
Partner with external training providers and consultants to deliver specialized training programs and resources as needed.</li><li>
Assist in the development and implementation of career development, performance management, and succession planning as it relates to current or emerging leaders.</li><li>
Create and maintain leadership competency models outlining the key skills and behaviors required for effective leadership within the organization.</li><li>
Administer and interpret leadership assessments and 360-degree feedback tools to identify strengths and development areas in leaders.</li><li>
Assist with management of budget for leadership and development programs, ensuring cost-effective delivery without compromising quality.</li><li>
Effectively communicate with employees and stakeholders about available leadership and development programs and initiatives.</li></ul><br>

Qualifications:
<ul><li>Bachelor's degree preferred.</li><li>
2-4 years of relevant HR, training, management, or equivalent work experience.</li><li>
1-2 years of relevant experience with leadership development.</li><li>
Excellent presentation and group facilitation skills (in person and virtually).</li><li>
Understanding of adult learning and adapting delivery to an operations-based audience.</li><li>
Prioritizing multiple projects/tasks with exceptional time management skills.</li><li>
Ability to use creative techniques to explain ideas and concepts to multicultural learners.</li><li>
Flexibility working a variety of action-oriented priorities.</li><li>
Highly organized problem solver with proven success addressing challenges and working collaboratively with high demand stakeholders.</li><li>
Strong knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.</li><li>
Experience with a learning management system (LMS), computer and/or web-based training delivery.</li><li>
Relevant certifications such as Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP), Certified Leadership Coach, or equivalent are a bonus.</li></ul>

Leadership Development Specialist

<div>Overview:
<div>
Under the direction of the Director of Government Services, provides service support to military and government transferees. Position interacts with several service areas within the organization, including Customer Service, OPS, International, Claims, and Capital Relocation to ensure that all relocation activities are performed in accordance with contractual and industry guidelines</div>
Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Coordinates all military moves from point of shipment acceptance to delivery.</li><li>
Updates and completes all data in required military/GSA transportation database systems.</li><li>
Communicates with transferee to coordinate move and to ensure the highest level of customer service and satisfaction.</li><li>
Cross-trained to assist other Move Supervisors across all division business lines to ensure successful moves and cover position in time of need.</li><li>
Collects, tracks, and files all DD1850&rsquo;s with appropriate Origin Transportation Offices (OTOs).</li><li>
Collects, tracks, and files all CSS scoring from DPS to provide data for quality improvement.</li><li>
Reports directly to the Government Services Manager on all departmental matters.</li><li>
Continuously trains to maintain highest standards on all GSD programs, systems, software, and administrative protocols.</li><li>
Adheres to all contractual guidelines.</li><li>
Other administrative duties as assigned.</li></ul>
Qualifications:
<ul><li>High School diploma or equivalent.</li><li>
Microsoft Office suite or comparable software packages.</li><li>
Move management experience.</li><li>
Good math skills</li><li>
High attention to detail</li><li>
Excellent customer service skills</li></ul>
