</p><p>As a Claims Case Manager, you won't just process paperwork &mdash; you will provide compassionate, trauma-informed support to individuals navigating the aftermath of significant, potentially life-changing incidents. In this role, you serve as a trusted guide, ensuring claimants receive reimbursement for eligible out-of-pocket expenses while experiencing professionalism, dignity, and care throughout the process.</p>

<h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>What You'll Do</b></h2>
<ul><li>Manage End-to-End Claims Processing</li><li>
Review, process, and manage incoming applications for reimbursement of incident-related expenses.</li><li>
Independently verify claimant eligibility and confirm incident details in coordination with agency partners.</li><li>
Confirm expenses and payments through communication with providers and collateral sources.</li></ul>
<h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Provide Trauma-Informed Support</b></h3>
<ul><li>Conduct professional, compassionate outreach to victims and claimants.</li><li>
Serve as a primary point of contact through a dedicated toll-free hotline and centralized email mailbox.</li><li>
Maintain detailed inquiry logs for both potential and current claimants.</li></ul>
<h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Drive Accuracy and Accountability</b></h3>
<ul><li>Use a CRM database to maintain, route, and track electronic case files throughout the full claim lifecycle (active, inactive, closed).</li><li>
Create and manage spreadsheets to track submitted expenses and reimbursement status.</li><li>
Ensure all casework is handled with integrity, discretion, and respect for privacy.</li></ul>
<h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Support Program Operations &amp; Reporting</b></h3>
<ul><li>Schedule and coordinate weekly project meetings, including drafting agendas, meeting minutes, and weekly status reports.</li><li>
Provide data and administrative support for monthly project reports, annual reports, and Congressional reporting requirements.</li><li>
Work collaboratively with team members to ensure seamless case management services.</li></ul>
<h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>What You Bring</b></h2>
<h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Minimum Qualifications</b></h3>
<p>Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, psychology, social work, or a related discipline and at least three (3) years of relevant experience; OR Bachelor's degree in any field with at least five (5) years of relevant experience.</p>
<h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Professional Strengths</b></h3>
<ul><li>Demonstrated experience in case management, claims processing, or related client-service environments.</li><li>
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, particularly in high-profile or sensitive environments.</li><li>
Strong organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail.</li><li>
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a structured, process-driven environment.</li><li>
Comfort working with databases/CRM systems and tracking tools.</li><li>
Ability to obtain and maintain government clearance.</li></ul>
<h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Preferred</b></h3>
<p>Experience working for a federal government contractor.</p>
