Purchasing CoordinatorJMS Southeast, Inc. &ndash; Statesville, NCROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Work in purchasing department for sourcing and procurement of critical materials for manufacture of temperature sensors and related components. Coordinate dates of incoming material with manufacturing team to enable up-to-date decision making.<ul><li>Identify material needed for manufacturing using sales and manufacturing planning tools</li><li>Place orders and maintain contact / relationships with vendors and supply base</li><li>Follow-up on open orders and maintain updated dates in manufacturing system for incoming material</li><li>Work with engineering teams to identify alternate materials and vendors when necessary</li><li>Monitor order scheduling and coordinate with departments for updates each day</li><li>Support shipping / receiving / inventory as needed</li></ul>Position Type: Full-Time Job Category: Salaried Exempt Travel Required: 0-10%COMPANY PROFILEJMS Southeast, Inc. is a growing, family-owned company that manufactures temperature sensors for some of the most demanding applications in the world.
