Marketing &mdash; especially video &mdash; is a core part of how we connect with our community and grow our brand.We are seeking an energetic and motivated Part-Time Marketing Assistant with a strong focus on video editing to support our growing marketing efforts across social media and digital platforms.Role OverviewThis role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, creative environment and can efficiently edit a high volume of short-form video content while supporting broader marketing initiatives. Video editing is the primary responsibility, with opportunities to gain hands-on experience across content marketing, social media, and digital campaigns.You&rsquo;ll work closely with ownership and the marketing team to turn raw job-site footage into engaging, on-brand content that helps drive visibility and growth.Key ResponsibilitiesVideo Editing &amp; Social Media (Primary Focus)<ul><li>Edit short-form videos for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, Nextdoor, and other social platforms</li><li>Review, organize, and manage large amounts of raw video footage</li><li>Create clean, engaging edits aligned with brand standards and current social trends</li><li>Add captions, transitions, light motion graphics, and music as needed</li><li>Optimize video formats for each platform</li><li>Assist with posting, scheduling, and basic performance tracking</li></ul>Marketing &amp; Content Support<ul><li>Assist in developing and executing multichannel marketing initiatives (social, email, digital)</li><li>Support content creation including social media copy, captions, and promotional materials</li><li>Assist with SEO-related tasks such as keyword research and content optimization</li><li>Help analyze campaign performance using tools like analytics and social insights</li><li>Conduct research on market trends, competitors, and target audiences</li><li>Support photography and videography on job sites when needed</li><li>Help maintain brand consistency across all marketing content</li><li>Assist with general marketing and administrative tasks as needed</li></ul>Required Qualifications<ul><li>Hands-on experience with video editing (required)</li><li>Experience editing short-form social media content</li><li>Proficiency with video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or similar)</li><li>Strong organizational skills and attention to detail</li><li>Ability to manage deadlines and work independently</li><li>Comfortable working with job-site / construction-related footage</li></ul>Preferred (Nice-to-Have)<ul><li>Photography or videography experience</li><li>Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) or Canva</li><li>Experience with SEO, WordPress, HTML basics, or Google Ads</li><li>Experience with email marketing platforms (Mailchimp, HubSpot)</li><li>Understanding of social media trends and best practices</li><li>Experience working with service-based or construction-related businesses</li><li>Plus if you have your own equipment</li><li>Experience with CRMs like Monday, Jobber, Pipedrive, HubSpot, etc.</li></ul>What We&rsquo;re Looking For<ul><li>Someone who can edit quickly without sacrificing quality</li><li>Comfortable handling high volumes of content</li><li>A reliable self-starter who takes ownership of their work</li><li>Someone excited to grow a brand through visual storytelling</li></ul>Why Work With Us<ul><li>Flexible, part-time schedule</li><li>Hands-on creative role with real projects</li><li>Opportunity to grow with a fast-moving company</li><li>Direct collaboration with ownership and the marketing team</li><li>Paid position with valuable real-world marketing experience</li></ul>Join us as a Part-Time Marketing Assistant and become a vital part of a vibrant team dedicated to innovative growth!
