We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-orientedLegal Assistantto join our growing team.Job Responsibilities:<ul><li>Answer incoming phone calls and direct them to the appropriate team member.</li><li>Conduct initial client intake when a paralegal is unavailable.</li><li>Request medical records and handle related invoice payments.</li><li>Scan and upload mail to claimant folders in the case management system.</li><li>Prepare and send outgoing mail to the Social Security Administration (SSA) and clients.</li><li>Check and manage incoming faxes and emails on a daily basis.</li><li>Maintain accurate and organized client files in our case management software.</li><li>Perform other administrative or legal support tasks as assigned.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Strong customer service and communication skills.</li><li>Must be punctual, dependable, and maintain excellent attendance.</li><li>Prior experience in a law firm or legal environment is a plus, but not required&mdash;we will provide on-the-job training.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain organization in a fast-paced setting.</li><li>Comfort with computers and ability to learn case management software, Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Adobe Acrobat.</li><li>Commitment to maintaining client confidentiality and protecting sensitive information.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Work Location: In person
