 This role leads and governs a business unit to achieve its financial and operational targets through driving sales, delivering technical support, and ensuring customer expectations are met&mdash;serving as a critical bridge between engineering, sales, service, and operations by blending technical knowledge with commercial insight&mdash;making it perfect for someone who thrives in multitasking, combining sales, strategy, technical tasks, and office work while collaborating within a dynamic, multinational team.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Job responsibilities:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Drive business development strategy that includes local sales infrastructure, projects and growth opportunities.
 </li>
 <li>
 Direct and manage the short term and medium-term sales/business objectives for the country in order to meet and exceed orders and sales targets.
 </li>
 <li>
 Establish strategic alliances with end-users and OEMs, cultivating long term commitment and cooperation for mutual benefit and added value.
 </li>
 <li>
 Evaluate tender requirements and RFQ&rsquo;s working closely with Commercial, Logistics and Legal teams to define right price levels and assure compliance and alignment with T&amp;C&rsquo;s.
 </li>
 <li>
 Manage and drive agent activity to improve partnership and business opportunities for both parties.
 </li>
 <li>
 Identify new business opportunities and grow existing customer relationships in various industries, such as oil &amp; gas, chemical, mining, power and water, Pulp &amp; Paper, F&amp;B.
 </li>
 <li>
 Manage the entire sales process, from initial inquiry to delivery and after-sales support while providing technical support and clarifications.
 </li>
 <li>
 Discuss and support the negotiation of contract terms and tenders while managing internal and external stakeholders.
 </li>
 <li>
 Record and accurately maintain customer information, opportunity data in CRM (C4C);
 </li>
 <li>
 Assure correspondence flow and proper communication of Oman office with suppliers, customers, distributor and local authorities.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist Finance in resolving payment issues in case of product discrepancies our inaccurate invoices.
 </li>
 <li>
 To provide technical support to customers/distributor and prepare notifications for non-compliances when and if required while meeting or exceeding sales targets and main KPIs.
 </li>
 <li>
 Refer sales leads, customer feedback, and information on competitor activity to appropriate contacts within the organization so that they can respond to changing market conditions and customer demands.
 </li>
 <li>
 Establish annual, quarterly, monthly, or weekly sales plans, prioritize deliver accurate order forecasts.
 </li>
 <li>
 Responsible for exercising due diligence towards health &amp; safety of self and others within the organization.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensures compliance with the applicable HSE instructions, requirements, laws and regulations received from customers, regulatory and statutory bodies.
 </li>
 <li>
 Support service activity in country working alongside with the local service and workshop teams.
 </li>

 Qualifications
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 University degree in mechanical engineering or similar field.
 </li>
 <li>
 10+ years of relevant mechanical engineering qualifications and experience on sales &amp; service.
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience in developing and implementing successful sales strategies.
 </li>
 <li>
 Proven experience in the industrial field of rotating machinery (Technical and Commercial)
 </li>
 <li>
 Knowledge of oil &amp; gas, petrochemical and general industries highly recommended.
 </li>
 <li>
 Knowledgeable about ERP and CRM tools, SAP a distinct advantage.
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience of working in a multinational and multicultural environment is an advantage
 </li>
 <li>
 Willingness to travel frequently to client, site inspections, aiming business development.
 </li>
 <li>
 Valid driver's license.
 </li>

Job Description Senior Accountant to support Sales and Aftermarket Commercial activities Duties &amp; Responsibilities Responsibilities: Under the guidance of Sub Regional Financial Controller and Finance Manager, the role will lead the Financial Planning &amp; Analysis activities for Sales and Aftermarket pillar which includes, but not limited to the following • Conduct GL reviews for overheads &amp; Other costs based on trend analysis to spot any sharp increases or decreases and investigate reasons for variance • Bi-weekly forecast and weekly actual reporting of Orders and Sales • Monthly Profit and Loss variance analysis &amp; Monthly Sales variance analysis • Financial analysis of high value projects (SR1/SR2) rolling forecasts and actuals • Preparation of annual budgets, presentation packs, followed by quarterly rolling forecasts • Collaboration with AR accountant on Customer cash collection • Preparation of AR Overdue performance report • Support month end close process, including balance sheet reconciliation, monthly balance sheet review, minimum controls submission • Participate / lead process improvements and system enhancement • Promptly respond to any ad-hoc information needs from Divisional, Regional and Local commercial teams • Actively participate in testing and support timely closures of any open points with internal &amp; external auditors for relevant areas • Timely and accurate submission of results and monthly reporting • In-depth financial analysis to support the business decisions • Strong credit control to support cash collections • Effective Internal controls The Individual Skills and Experience: • Experience - B.Com. / MBA/CA/CPA with Minimum 6 years • Good communication Advanced Excel skill is preferred. • Experience with SAP or other major ERP system Good knowledge of accounting principles and practices • Strong business sense and change management skills. • High degree of independence • Team player with excellent people skills
