 Job Description:
 
 
 
 To provide mechanical and commercial support to the existing JC client base, targeted clients and the external sales team through consistently high level of mechanical expertise, highly responsive feedback and outstanding level of client service.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 SPECIFIC DUTIES, ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
 
 
 INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO
 
 :
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Design and implement cost-effective equipment modifications to help improve safety and reliability.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist with technical reviews of specific applications to allow the optional selection of John Crane products and services.
 </li>
 <li>
 Engaged in day to day activities at customer site in remote locations.
 </li>
 <li>
 Deep knowledge of mechanical seals, systems and couplings.
 </li>
 <li>
 To be present at PDO Interior locations all the time on a 28-day rotation base and be ready to extend the stay at site if demanded.
 </li>
 <li>
 Conduct regular site visits and offer trouble shooting when needed.
 </li>
 <li>
 Discuss and solve complex problems with manufacturing departments, subcontractors, suppliers and customers.
 </li>
 <li>
 Able to perform troubleshooting during start-up pf rotating equipment.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain and increase JC market share with key end users and develop territory market.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist end users during shut down. Service/support ongoing refurbishment contracts with end users.
 </li>
 <li>
 Establish good relationship with end users, assist customer during project commissioning.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensures quality &amp; safety within functions/ tasks performed by himself/herself and staff reporting to him/her
 </li>
 <li>
 Responsible for exercising due diligence towards health &amp; safety of self and others within the organization
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensures compliance with the applicable HSE instructions, requirements, laws and regulations received from customers, regulatory and statutory bodies
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 Qualifications
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 University degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar field.
 </li>
 <li>
 3+ years of professional experience in engineering and sales.
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience working in refinery rotating equipment/maintenance.
 </li>
 <li>
 Engineering knowledge in a proactive multinational and multicultural environment.
 </li>
 <li>
 A strong technical knowledge of John Crane product portfolio.
 </li>
 <li>
 Fluent in English - Arabic is a plus
 </li>
 </ul>
