You&rsquo;ll be the person bringing the latest tech and beautiful furniture to life, ensuring our customers get the premium experience they expect, as part of a 2-person delivery crew driving a 7.5-tonne vehicle.</p>

In addition to your contractual pay, any time worked between 18:00 - 22:00 will attract an Evening Premium at a rate of &pound;3.25 per hour, and any time worked between 22:00 - 06:00 will attract a Night Premium at a rate of &pound;4.25 per hour. This will also apply to existing Partners who have enrolled onto Enhanced Hours Premium arrangements.</div>

RESPONSIBILITIES, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
</b></div></h2><div><p>Key Responsibilities</p>

Your day starts at the hub, prepping your 7.5-tonne vehicle with the warehouse team before heading out to make a difference.</p>

<li><div>Premium Installation: Expertly installing furniture, white goods, and home cinema systems.</div>

<li><div>Customer Ambassadorship: Acting as the face of John Lewis, treating every home with the utmost respect.</div>

<li><div>Knowledge Sharing: Coaching your partner on the best installation techniques and customer service flourishes.</div>

<li><div>Problem Solving: Handling the &quot;unexpected&quot; with a calm, professional attitude to ensure every delivery is a success.</div>

</ul><p>A Note on the Physicality: This is a hands-on, high-energy role. You&rsquo;ll be handling heavy, high-value items like sofas, mattresses, and appliances.</p>

<p>Essentials skills required:</p>
<ul>
<li><div>Licensing: A valid Manual C1 UK driving licence (max 6 points).</div>
</li>
<li><div>Qualifications: Valid DCPC and Tachograph Card (must be held by your start date).</div>
</li>
<li><div>Experience: Proven history of driving 7.5-tonne vehicles and a background in home installations.</div>
</li>
<li><div>Communication: A friendly, professional manner&mdash;both in person and over the phone.</div>
</li>
<li><div>Tech-Savvy: You&rsquo;re comfortable with modern tech and eager to learn about new products.</div>
</li>
</ul><p>Desirable skills:</p>
<ul>
<li><div>Experience with integrated appliances or electrical disconnections.</div>
</li>
<li><div>Skills in TV wall mounting or flat-pack assembly.</div>
</li>
<li><div>Knowledge of domestic lighting or cooking appliance replacement.</div>

DRIVER TECHNICIAN 7.5T, CUSTOMER DELIVERY HUB

</b></div></h2><div><p>This role will be based at either our Fenny Lock National Distribution Centre OR our Magna Park National Distribution Centre<br>
The salary range for this role is set at &pound;36,400 - &pound;55,800</p>
<p>
Please note this role is for 42 hours per week. You will be working a DuPont shift schedule, a 4 week pattern of 14 x 12.5 hour shifts (a combination of day and night shifts - 05:45 - 18:15 / 17:45 - 06:15) in one rotation cycle (28 days) including 7 consecutive days off.</p>

RESPONSIBILITIES, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
</b></div></h2><div><p><b>About the role</b></p><br>
<p>
John Lewis Magna Park and Fenny Lock sites are industry-leading semi-automated facilities that operate 24/7. Both sites maintain an on-site engineering presence to provide structured planned preventative/remedial disciplines and reactive response to a complex building services infrastructure, supporting in excess of &pound;150m of materials-handling automation equipment, which is constantly evolving with continued site development investment.</p><br>
<p>
As an Engineering Technician, you will play a critical part in the operation of the site. You will provide technical presence on-site, working within building services, mechanical systems, MHE, HVAC, automation, power and data networks, to provide fault-diagnoses and remedial response confidently. Key responsibilities will include:</p>
<ul>
<li><div>Carrying out technical planned preventative maintenance and reactive tasks, complying with H&amp;S governance, legislation and institutional standards / SLAs.</div>
</li>
<li><div>Providing competent fault-finding and accurate fault diagnoses on electro-mechanical systems and building services with an ability to technically advise the leadership team or Head of Branch in the event of an emergency.</div>
</li>
<li><div>Supporting branch change-works and development projects.</div>
</li>
<li><div>Carrying out operational processes to minimise business risk and loss.</div>
</li>
<li><div>Demonstrating flexibility by supporting other areas on campus.</div>
</li>
<li><div>Understanding and using engineering infrastructure IT Systems.</div>

<p><b>Essential skills you&rsquo;ll need</b></p>

<li><div>Ability to read electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic drawings and fault-find to component level.</div>
</li>
<li><div>Able to demonstrate experience in Building Environmental and Electrical Services including heating, ventilation, and air conditioning within the building services industry.</div>
