Starting Salary Range: $73,109-$96,115 and determined based on relevant years of work experience provided on application and resume.

Position Summary: Johnson County Community College (JCCC) inspires learning to transform lives and strengthen communities. The Sr. Project Manager supports this mission by planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to deadlines and within budget. This role involves assigning resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party partners to deliver IT projects according to plan. While maintaining traditional oversight, the Senior Project Manager will facilitate the team&rsquo;s gradual adoption of iterative workflows. The incumbent will maintain structural oversight and quality control while fostering a collaborative, flexible environment that empowers teams to deliver high-value results.

Required Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree</li>
<li>PMP Certification</li>
<li>4+ years of relevant project management experience.</li>
</ul>
Preferred Qualifications:
<ul><li>Agile Proficiency:
<ul><li>Demonstrated training or certification in Agile methodologies, such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PMI-ACP, or Kanban foundations.</li>
</ul></li><li>Hybrid Experience:
<ul><li>Experience leading teams in &quot;Hybrid&quot; environments that combine Waterfall planning with Agile execution.</li>
</ul></li><li>Digital Fluency:
<ul><li>Ability to work and manage teams with effective use of Digital workplace tools and methods such as:</li>
<li>Collaboration Tools: Examples include Zoom Workplace, MS Teams, Slack</li>
<li>Documentation Systems: Examples include Zoom Docs, Confluence, SharePoint, GetHub, Wiki-based systems and Markdown.</li>
<li>Project Planning Tools: Examples include TeamDynamix, MS Project, MS Planner, Monday.com, Smartsheets, Jira, Trello, or Azure DevOps</li>

</li></ul>Position Details: Job duties include but are not limited to:
<ul><li>Strategy &amp; Planning: Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders. Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools with consideration of iterative cycles for task execution. Liaise with stakeholders on an ongoing basis and effectively communicate project expectations to team members. Conduct project postmortems and create recommendations reports to identify successful and unsuccessful elements.</li>
<li>Resource &amp; Operational Management: Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals and negotiate for personnel when required. Draft budget proposals and recommend changes where necessary. Direct and manage project development from beginning to end, utilizing both full-scale project plans and visual management tools like Card walls or Kanban. Identify and manage project risks and dependencies and the critical path while removing daily impediments for the team.</li>
<li>Team Leadership &amp; Facilitation: Coach, mentor, and motivate project team members and contractors, influencing them to take accountability for their work. Facilitate regular team &quot;sync&quot; meetings (such as daily stand-ups) to identify and resolve issues and conflicts. Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel while fostering a collaborative environment. Proactively manage changes in project scope and devise contingency plans to handle potential crises.</li>
</ul>

Position Summary: Tutor students through a variety of modalities and methods in specific subjects; refer students to other relevant resources. Assist with center-specific projects and training as appropriate; assist with other daily activities in the relevant center.

Required Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Considered highly skilled and proficient in discipline.</li>
<li>Conducts complex, important work under minimal supervision and with wide latitude for independent judgment.</li>
<li>Requires a bachelor's degree in related field and 1 year of teaching/tutoring experience.</li>
<li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Life Sciences or any other related health science field with successful completion of Human Anatomy &amp; Physiology, Histology, Genetics or other related courses.</li>

Position Details: Job duties include but are not limited to:
<ul><li>Tutor students through drop-in, by-appointment, semester-long tutoring, embedded, and/or group tutoring (online and/or in-person) in specific subjects or content and course-specific study skills deemed appropriate by the relevant supervisor; build rapport and supportive relationships with students.</li>
<li>Assist with center-specific projects, including developing and maintaining physical and electronic center resources (i.e., textbooks, anatomical models, microscopes, calculators, and online guides), delivering content-specific workshops, and meeting with students through the Academic Integrity Remediation process.</li>
<li>Refer students to appropriate resources within the larger Academic Resource Center and across campus based on expressed student needs.</li>
<li>Maintain accurate and detailed records, adhering to the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) and keeping appropriate staff updated on student progress and problems.</li>
<li>Assist in hiring and training new tutors as necessary and serve as a mentor to other center staff.</li>
<li>Participate in mandatory center and campus training, including pedagogical training, maintaining content expertise, and other campus-wide training opportunities as appropriate.</li>
<li>Assist in the daily activities of the center, cover the front desk when needed, ensure students are checked in/out, troubleshoot technical problems (including LMS, software, and hardware problems), and help to maintain a positive, clean, and organized center space.</li>
<li>Use appropriate scheduling system to manage and maintain tutoring schedules.</li>
<li>Model tutor expectations and reinforce best practices.</li>
<li>Assist with planning and coordinating events and workshops related to tutoring subject areas.</li>
</ul>
