Job Overview We are excited to announce a newly created position within our organization. We are seeking a highly organized individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can manage multiple tasks at once. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who works well independently while also contributing effectively as part of a team. As Human Resource Specialist your primary responsibility will be day-to-day HR operations. This role is essential in managing various HR functions including payroll submission, ensuring compliance with employment laws, and fostering a positive workplace culture.Responsibilities<ul><li>Assist managers in hiring as neeeded.</li><li>Oversee onboarding of newly hired employees on HR and internal policies.</li><li>Administer employee benefits programs and assist with benefits administration.</li><li>Ensure compliance with FMLA, and employment &amp; labor laws.</li><li>Support performance management processes, including employee evaluations.</li><li>Maintain accurate employee records.</li><li>Assist in change managment efforts to enhance organizational effectiveness.</li><li>Prepare and submit bi-weekly payroll.</li><li>Foster positive employee relations by addressing concerns and facilitating conflict management.</li><li>Work with CEO and COO on policy updates and HR strategy.</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Knowledge of employment &amp; labor law, including FMLA.</li><li>Skilled in performance management techniques and employee evaluation processes.</li><li>Knowledge of benefits administration practices and workers' compensation policies.</li><li>Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively interact at all organizational levels.</li><li>Strong administrative experience with attention to detail in data collection and reporting.</li><li>Ability to strategically plan organization design initiatives that align with business goals.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hourExpected hours: 38 &ndash; 40 per weekBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Employee discount</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Health savings account</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid jury duty</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Professional development assistance</li><li>Retirement plan</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Work Location: In person
