We are opening a new office in Lincoln, Nebraska and seeking an experienced family law attorney to lead the launch and build our Nebraska practice.This is a leadership-level role. You will serve as the lead attorney for our Lincoln office with full practice authority over the firm&rsquo;s Nebraska operations. You will have the autonomy to manage your own caseload and client relationships, backed by the infrastructure of an established firm&mdash;including full back-office support, modern case management technology, marketing investment, and operational resources.If you are a family law attorney with an established reputation in the Lincoln area or Lancaster County who is looking for more autonomy, better support, or a new platform to grow your practice, we&rsquo;d like to talk.What We Offer<ul><li>Competitive base salary with origination and performance bonuses (total compensation $115K&ndash;$165K+)</li><li>Full practice authority &mdash; you lead the firm&rsquo;s Nebraska practice with decision-making responsibility</li><li>Firm infrastructure &mdash; Clio case management, dedicated intake pipeline, CallRail tracking, paralegal/admin support</li><li>Marketing investment &mdash; the firm will invest in Google LSAs, SEO, legal directories, and video content for the Lincoln market</li><li>Professional office space in Lincoln (executive suite)</li><li>Health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k), PTO, CLE budget, bar dues paid</li><li>Path to growth &mdash; as the market develops, you will have input on hiring additional attorneys and expanding into the broader Nebraska market</li></ul>What We&rsquo;re Looking ForRequired<ul><li>Licensed and in good standing with the Nebraska State Bar</li><li>Minimum 5 years of substantive family law experience (divorce, custody, property division, modifications)</li><li>Trial and hearing experience in Nebraska family courts, particularly Lancaster County</li><li>Existing client relationships and portable book of business (20+ cases)</li><li>Comfortable operating with autonomy while collaborating remotely with firm leadership</li></ul>Strongly Preferred○ Experience with high-asset or complex property division matters○ Established referral relationships with local attorneys, mediators, and financial professionals○ Portable book of business generating $400K+ annually○ Experience managing or mentoring junior attorneys or paralegals○ Familiarity with Clio or similar cloud-based practice management softwareAbout the FirmJohnson Law Group, LLC is a family law firm serving clients across multiple states.
