Responsible for assisting the Process &amp; Innovation team and other cross functional teams at Jones Dairy Farm (ex. Food Safety Quality Assurance, Operations, Continuous Improvement, Jones Market). The intern will be assigned projects to support product development, culinary innovation, process improvement, and data management to be completed through the term of the internship. Upon completion of projects, the Process &amp; Innovation Intern will compile and present a report to leadership team.</div><div></div><div><b><br>
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:</b></div><div></div><div><br>

Independently work on and complete projects assigned to the position and complete final report at end of summer summarizing internship experiences.</li></ul></div></div><div></div><div><div><br>

Organize data, photos, equipment, tools, and final project report in complete and concise manner for historical project tracking.</li></ul></div></div><div></div><div><div><br>
<ul><li>
Assist in the production (weighing ingredients, setting up of equipment, operation equipment, cleanup of equipment, data collection, experiential shadowing) for projects supporting the Process &amp; Innovation (PI) team.</li></ul></div></div><div></div><div><div><br>

Collaborate with cross functional teams (FSQA, Operations, Procurement) and Jones Dairy Farm customers (Jones Market, events) and maintain positive working relationships.</li></ul></div></div><div></div><div><div><br>

Must be willing to work in production environment (refrigerated rooms, freezers) or kitchen on an as-needed basis.</li></ul></div></div><div></div><div><div><br>

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:</b></div><div><b>
Education: </b>Currently pursuing a Bachelor&rsquo;s, Master&rsquo;s, or Doctoral degree in Food Science, Meat Science, Animal Science, Chemistry, Biology, or Culinary Science. Other fields considered with interest or intention of pursuing career in food industry.</div><div><b>
Experience or Training:</b> Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills. Good problem-solving, interpersonal, written and oral communication skills. Willingness to take initiative with multiple tasks and projects.</div><div><b>
Technology/Equipment</b><b>:</b> Strong computer skills with proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, TEAMS).</div><div></div><div><br>
