Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Part Time Bookkeeper to join our dynamic team. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about precision and organization, this position is perfect for you!Duties<ul><li>Manage day-to-day bookkeeping activities including data entry, journal entries, and account reconciliations using software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or Quicken</li><li>Perform bank reconciliations and general ledger accounting to ensure accuracy of financial data</li><li>Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements, adhering to GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) standards</li><li>Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections</li><li>Conduct payroll processing, tax filings, and maintain compliance with governmental accounting requirements</li><li>Reconcile accounts through detailed account analysis, double-entry bookkeeping, and general ledger reconciliation</li><li>Assist with budgeting, financial report writing, and supporting audits or external reviews as needed</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Proven experience in corporate or non-profit accounting environments with a strong understanding of financial concepts and technical accounting practices</li><li>Hands-on experience with multiple accounting software platforms such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or similar tools</li><li>Knowledge of governmental accounting standards and public accounting practices is a plus</li><li>Familiarity with account reconciliation procedures including bank reconciliation and account analysis</li><li>Strong understanding of debits &amp; credits, journal entries, and general ledger management</li><li>Ability to perform 10 key typing accurately for data entry tasks</li><li>Prior experience in payroll processing, tax preparation, and budgeting is highly desirable</li></ul>Join us to contribute your expertise in bookkeeping while enjoying a flexible schedule that allows you to balance work with your personal life.
