<div><div>SUMMARY OF THE ROLE</div><div></div>
We are looking for a proactive HSEQ Engineer to contribute and advise on all HSEQ matters at Jotun Egypt&rsquo;s new factory, ensuring operations are conducted safely and in full compliance with applicable local and global regulations.<br>
<br>
This position will be based in Jotun Egypt factory in Al Robecky Industrial zone, 10th of Ramadan and will be reporting to the HSEQ Manager.<div></div><div><b>
Responsibilities:</b></div><ul><li><div>
Implement and maintain the Company's HSEQ Policies and procedures to comply with the legal and Jotun HSEQ Management System.</div></li><li><div>
Follow up and maintain necessary documentation adhering to local authorities&rsquo; requirements and regulations.</div></li><li><div>
Assist in the implementation of the HSEQ management system by working closely with the relevant stakeholders.</div></li><li><div>
Contribute and coordinate the HSEQ in the new factory projects such as minor constructions following all HSEQ policies and procedures.</div></li><li><div>
Maintain and improve the HSEQ and ISO management system documents, ensuring audits and actions are carried out as required to maintain the company's accreditation to the standards.</div></li><li><div>
Deliver HSEQ frequent training to employees to enrich employees&rsquo; awareness.</div></li><li><div>
Conduct regular safety tours for the external sites.</div></li></ul><div></div><div><br>

Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in engineering (preferably in Electrical or Mechanical) or Science.</div></li><li><div>
3-5 years of experience is required in the HSEQ field.</div></li><li><div>
A valid driving license.</div></li><li><div>
Must be able to communicate fluently in English &amp; Arabic.</div></li></ul><div></div><div><b>

HSEQ Engineer

<div><div>SUMMARY OF THE ROLE</div><div></div>
Lead, coordinate, and execute local technical investment projects with a strong emphasis on HSE compliance, quality standards, and adherence to approved budgets and timelines. Collaborate closely with the General Manager/Project Owner, Steering Committee, and Technical and Purchasing teams at the regional or headquarters level to ensure that all new investments are designed, constructed, and commissioned in full alignment with Jotun&rsquo;s operational and technical standards.<br>

Implementation of 10-year Master Plan to support the sales projection in coordination with region.<div></div><div><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Responsibilities:</b><b>
</b></h2><ul><li>Manage projects to ensure new technology investments are properly designed, constructed, and delivered with the required quality in accordance with Jotun Standards.</li><li>
Ensure full compliance with all procedures in Jotun&rsquo;s Investment Stage‑Gate Process.</li><li>
Secure adequate project resources and ensure that necessary quality assurance support from Group or Regional functions is provided.</li><li>
Manage all contracts with consultants and contractors in accordance with Jotun&rsquo;s standard contract requirements.</li><li>
Ensure that all activities adhere to Jotun&rsquo;s policies as well as applicable local laws, procedures, guidelines, and agreements.</li><li>
Monitor project progress, timelines, and cost development throughout all phases of the project.</li><li>
Lead risk management activities to identify, assess, and mitigate project risks.</li><li>
Provide regular status reports to the Steering Committee, highlighting deviations and recommending corrective actions.</li><li>
Maintain full responsibility for HSEQ performance within the project scope.</li><li>
Initiate, drive, and follow up continuous improvement initiatives using the Jotun Operations System.</li><li>
Lead, coach, and develop the team in line with Jotun Leadership Expectations to ensure a competent, engaged, and high‑performing workforce.</li><li>
Lead the entire project lifecycle&mdash;from planning through execution&mdash;managing timelines, budgets, costs, and HSE performance.</li><li>
Prepare detailed project plans and oversee all phases to ensure compliance with design specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.</li><li>
Coordinate and manage consultants, contractors, and vendors throughout all project phases.</li><li>
Ensure full compliance with Jotun&rsquo;s Technical Investment Process and Engineering Standards.</li><li>
Review and approve design drawings, material submissions, and site modifications to ensure alignment with company policies and relevant regulations.</li><li>
Provide regular progress reports, highlighting key performance indicators (KPIs), deviations, risks, and recommended corrective actions.</li></ul></div><div></div><div>
