<b>Job Summary: </b>An outpatient OB/GYN provides a wide range of women's health services in a clinic setting, including prenatal care, gynecological exams and screenings, contraception counseling, diagnosis and treatment of reproductive health conditions, and patient education on preventative care. The role involves detailed patient assessments, diagnostic testing, treatment planning, maintaining accurate electronic medical records, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to deliver cost-effective and high-quality care.<br>

<b>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</b><br>
<ul><li>Patient Care: Provide care during prenatal, postnatal, and all phases of women's reproductive health, including screening, diagnosis, and treatment of various conditions.</li><li>Exams and Procedures: Perform well-women exams, including pelvic and breast exams, Pap smears, and administer necessary tests and biopsies.</li><li>Patient Counseling: Educate patients on birth control, safe sex practices, preventative medicine, and the expectations of pregnancy and childbirth.</li></ul><br>
<ul><li><b>Diagnosis &amp; Treatment: </b>Diagnose and monitor reproductive system diseases and disorders, ordering and interpreting lab results and screenings.</li><li>Collaboration: Work with midwives, nurses, and other healthcare providers to develop and implement comprehensive patient care plans.</li><li>Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, treatment plans, and medical records in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.</li><li>Administrative Tasks: Participate in administrative duties, such as reviewing lab reports, managing medication refills, and ensuring cost-effective resource utilization.</li><li>Compliance: Adhere to all organizational policies, procedures, and healthcare regulations, including HIPAA.</li></ul></div><div><b><br>
ACADEMIC &amp; EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES</b><br>
<ul><li>Supports the education and professional development of medical students, residents, fellows, and other health care learners, providing appropriate and timely mentoring either personally or through senior Departmental faculty.</li><li>Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.</li><li>Completion of an ACGME-accredited OB/GYN residency program.</li><li>Board certification or board eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology.</li><li>Valid medical license in the state of Texas.</li><li>Strong diagnostic and clinical skills.</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.</li></ul></div><div><b>

The PM&amp;R Physician will provide comprehensive rehabilitation services to patients with physical disabilities, injuries, or chronic conditions. You will assess, diagnose, and treat patients while working collaboratively with rehabilitation therapists and other providers to improve functional outcomes and quality of life.</p><p><b>

Job Summary:</b></p><p><br>
The Physician is responsible for administering and interpreting all aspects of patient care, including diagnosis, treatments and consultations within the inpatient and/or outpatient setting. This position will also educate patients about preventative care and prescribed treatments; may also conduct physicals, order tests and serve as a patient's healthcare provider.</p><p><b><br>
Duties and Essential Job Functions:</b></p><ul><li>
Provide inpatient consults and outpatient management of neuromuscular, musculoskeletal, spinal cord, TBI, amputee, or other disabling conditions.</li><li>
Perform electrodiagnostic testing, including EMG, nerve conduction studies, and ultrasound/neuro-sonography.</li><li>
Create and implement individualized rehabilitation treatment plans.</li><li>
Oversee and coordinate therapies including PT, OT, and speech therapy.</li><li>
Manage spasticity and dystonia, including Botox injections (baclofen pump management optional).</li><li>
Supervise and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows in the PM&amp;R program.</li><li>
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.</li><li>
Educate patients and families on conditions, goals, and the rehabilitation process.</li><li>
Collaborate across disciplines to ensure holistic, patient-centered care.</li><li>
Participate in research, quality improvement, and educational initiatives within the department.</li></ul><p><b><br>
Key Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li>
Coordinates the multidisciplinary care delivered to all patients, to optimize patient care.</li><li>
Reviews patient medical charts to diagnose, treat, and provide care management and education to patients and families.</li><li>
Makes appropriate patient referrals as necessary.</li><li>
Monitors guidelines for the management of care and for ensuring the services are delivered in compliance with the guidelines established by JPS Health Network and Acclaim Physician Group.</li><li>
Provides evidence-based and compassionate care to all patients as assigned to improve patient outcomes and increase patient satisfaction scores. Demonstrates patient centered and patient valued behavior.</li><li>
Maintains a collaborative environment with other referring physicians, residents, clinical staff, and support staff to provide quality patient care.</li><li>
Supports academic, educational and research endeavors.</li><li>
Attends Performance Improvement Programs and Peer Review committee meetings; and is an active participant in the process.</li><li>
Partners and communicates with acumen to build a positive brand and patient/customer experience for those who encounter JPS Health Network and Acclaim Physician Group. This would include health network staff, vendors, outside partners, patients, stakeholders, and local community leaders.</li><li>

Valid, unrestricted Texas medical license and DEA certification.</li><li>
