Client is Looking for Local Candidates at Plano, TexasDescription: We are seeking a skilled Java Developer with strong expertise in building and maintaining modern, scalable applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Spring Boot microservices, RESTful APIs, Kafka, and AWS deployments, along with a solid foundation in CI/CD practices and production support. This role requires someone who is passionate about clean, efficient code, thrives in collaborative environments, and is eager to contribute to the development of high-performance, event-driven systems.<ul><li>Design and implement technical architecture for Java-based microservices using Spring Boot</li><li>Build and consume RESTful APIs, ensuring security, scalability and high performance</li><li>Implement scalable and fault-tolerant Spring Batch jobs for data processing</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment</li><li>Contribute to system design and architectural discussions</li><li>Deploy and monitor cloud-native applications in AWS</li><li>Proficiency in CI/CD tools and practices (Jenkins, GitLab, Docker, etc.)</li><li>Participate in code reviews, mentor junior developers</li><li>Strong problem-solving skills, experience with monitoring tools, logging and production support</li><li>Write clean, and efficient modular code following industry best practices</li></ul>Job Types: Full-time, ContractPay: $51.12 - $61.57 per hourWork Location: In person
