This position is responsible for creating and reviewing drawings to meet specifications throughout the job cycle. The ideal candidate is hands-on, high attention to detail and organization, knowledgeable in design, and demonstrate a desire to learn and willingness to do whatever is needed to help the team meet goals and finish projects.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Create and review technical drawings to meet specifications.</li><li>Create job travelers.</li><li>Perform tolerance analysis on critical assemblies.</li><li>Meet with suppliers, customers, and project stakeholders to review/ alter designs as needed.</li><li>Modify designs to correct operating and production issues.</li><li>Provide installation support.</li><li>Attend team meetings to provide progress reports, obtain updates on colleagues' progress, strategize on steps for following week and acquire information about projected emerging product lines.</li></ul>Required Qualifications:<ul><li>Strong communication skills.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to design per given specifications.</li><li>Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.</li></ul>Working Conditions:<ul><li>This position occasionally operates in a professional office environment within a manufacturing facility.</li><li>Occasional exposure to manufacturing floor conditions such as noise, dust, and machinery.</li></ul>Physical Requirements:<ul><li>Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.</li><li>Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.</li><li>Ability to walk the manufacturing floor and attend on-site meetings as needed.</li></ul>Compensation and Benefits:<ul><li>Competitive salary commensurate with experience with merit based and performance review increases.</li><li>Health, dental, vision, and life insurance.</li><li>Retirement plan</li><li>Paid time off (PTO) and holidays.</li></ul>Equal Employment Opportunity Statement:JR Metal Works, LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
