JOB SUMMARY - ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES</b></p>

<div><p>Perform duties as an Intelligence Analyst (Scientific and Technical) Lead in design concerned with developments in basic scientific and technical (S&amp;T) research and development including engineering and production techniques, technology, and weapons systems and their capabilities and characteristics. S&amp;T Intelligence Analysts may be involved in Research, Development, Test Support, Documentation, Briefings and Presentations, and All-Source Intelligence Analysis.
</p></div><div>Employee will be responsible for the following functions/duties:</div>
<div><ul><li>Provide or assist with leadership, organization, vision, innovation, and supervisory skills to a technical branch.</li>
<li>Compile, develop, analyze, produce, and maintain technical documentation and system/subsystem specifications.</li>
<li>Research and develop written and oral multi-domain analytic briefings and reports for internal and external customers.</li>
<li>Coordinate and work with external agencies to include intelligence community participants and developmental and operational test community.</li>
<li>Direct interface and liaison with customers at all levels from quotation to final design and test.</li>
<li>Lead specialized technical groups/committees.</li>
</ul>
<div><p><b>DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Experience in gathering, analyzing, compiling, and developing products on various threats, intelligence, and technological developments derived from intelligence research of databases, HUMINT, SIGINT, GEOINT, MASINT, OSINT, Cyber intelligence and professional contacts.</li>
<li>Must have knowledge of intelligence processes, cycle, and organizations.</li>
<li>Must have knowledge of and adept skills with intelligence tools (Fade MIST, BODHI, Thresher, iSPY, CHROME, NSA Pulse, Viking, LAIKA).</li>
<li>Must have experience working with intelligence community members (NSA, NASIC, DIA, etc.)</li>
<li>Must have experience working in or coordinating with geographic combatant commands, particularly USINDOPACOM, USECOM, and USCENTCOM.</li>
<li>Must possess strong written and oral communication skills, experience in report writing and presentation.</li>
<li>TS/SCI preferred.</li>

<div><p>The incumbent must have a BS and 14 years of specialized experience in gathering, analyzing, compiling, and developing products on various threats, intelligence, and technological developments derived from the research of databases, films, journals, images, HUMINT, SIGINT, and/or professional contacts. Knowledge of intelligence processes, cycle, and organizations is required.</p>

<div><p>In addition, an Intelligence Analyst V must possess the following qualifications:</p>

<ul><li>Must possess engineering design and advanced computer skills using software products such as CAD and other graphic design programs. Some positions may require maintenance of a technical information facility and central repository of hardcopy finished intelligence products and knowledge in availability of government transportation and payload capabilities.</li>
<li>Must possess planning/organizing skills</li>
<li>Must be able to work under deadlines</li>
<li>Ability to work independently without supervision</li>
<li>Must qualify for and maintain a government security clearance</li>
<li>Must possess a valid, state-issued driver's license</li>
</ul>
<div><p><b>SALARY</b></p>

The expected salary range for this position is $90,000 to $135,000 annually.</div>

WORKING CONDITIONS</b></p>

<p>This position involves work typical of an office environment with no unusual hazards. There is occasional lifting to 30 pounds, constant sitting and use of a computer terminal, constant use of sight abilities while writing, reviewing and editing documents, constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication, and constant mental alertness. The incumbent must be able to work duty days in excess of eight hours and perform shift and weekend work to meet required schedule demands.</p>

JOB SUMMARY - ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES</b></p>
<p>
</p><p>A Joint Data Network &amp; Information Technology Field Engineer performs or leads complex field engineering assignments and perform a variety of engineering assignments involving technology applications involved in the installation, operation, testing, and maintenance of complex electronic / mechanical equipment and information technology (IT) systems and infrastructures.</p>
<p>
Employee will be responsible for the following functions/duties:
</p><ul><li>Apply knowledge of design specifications for more complex systems/projects</li>
<li>Coordinate and work closely with other engineering, logistics, financial, and program management disciplines to define system specifications and requirements</li>
<li>Recommend technology refresh upgrades for end-of-life systems as a technical subject matter expert</li>
<li>Define / write function and security requirements for service delivery of command, control, computer, communication and IT systems, which could include virtual environments and associated applications</li>
<li>Manage, design and implement command-and-control, debriefing and other associated information system infrastructure and applications</li>
<li>Provide operation, troubleshooting and debugging support for computer operations systems, including system security, access, configuration, backups and restores</li>
<li>Assist in incident handling in conjunction with the Facility Security Officer and Information Security Officer / Information Systems Security Manager</li>
<li>Assures common engineering principles are consistently applied to internal software, hardware and multimedia inventories</li>
<li>Researches engineering solutions to address software and hardware requirements in support of system sustainment and new system projects that handle computing, networking, video, audio and data while taking into consideration emissions and communications requirements</li>
<li>Assists in system administration, troubleshooting and remediation of command-and-control, debriefing and other IT systems operation performance issues</li>
<li>Verify and comply with engineering documentation standards and test procedures</li>
<li>Prepare, deliver, and submit technical papers and perform engineering studies</li>
<li>Support development of technical proposals and provide comments on technical content and level of effort of the proposed scope of work</li>
<li>Develop, maintain, and produce technical documentation and system/subsystem specifications</li>
<li>Direct interface and liaison with customers at all levels from quotation to final design and test activities, design reviews, and technical working group meetings to comply with requirements and specifications</li>
<li>Conduct site visits, experimental investigations and analyze engineering problems, propose solutions and alternatives, and provide recommendations</li>

<li>Ability to investigate, troubleshoot, and design solutions to problems in operational hardware and software</li>
