<div><p>The Assistant Transitional Coordinator is responsible for a variety of duties relating to meeting the needs of a multi-handicapped student and client population, including coordinating transition planning, the pre-transition and transition level process, and the transition process from JRC.
</p><p>The Assistant Transitional Coordinator reports directly to the Transitional Coordinator. It is a non- exempt full-time position. Customary hours of work are 9 AM &ndash; 5 PM Monday through Friday with a weekend shift every six weeks.
</p><p><b>Educational/Work History Requirements:</b></p><ul><li>
Baccalaureate degree in Psychology, Sociology, Education, or equivalent combination of education and experience.</li><li>
One to three years of experience working with a multi-handicapped population.</li><li>
Ability to work additional hours as necessary.</li><li>
Possesses excellent problem-solving, analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.</li><li>
Must be able to function with little supervision.</li></ul></div>
