</div><div>As a Recreational Gymnastics Coach at Jump! Gymnastics, you will be responsible for creating a fun and engaging environment where children can learn and grow through gymnastics. You will lead classes by following our curriculum and themes while fostering a positive, supportive, and safe atmosphere. Your role is to ensure that students are progressing, enjoying their classes, and receiving individualized attention, while keeping parents informed of their child&rsquo;s progress and events at Jump!<br>
</div><div>We provide full training to all of our coaches to ensure you feel confident and equipped to deliver high-quality instruction. Whether you're looking for an afternoon job, a college job, or an afterschool job, we offer flexible hours with evening and weekend shifts. <div><b>WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:</b></div>
<ul><li>Experience in gymnastics, dance, cheer, yoga, or a related sport.</li>
<li>Previous childcare experience (babysitting, caring for younger siblings, or similar roles count).</li>
<li>Dedicated and committed to coaching all assigned classes.</li>
<li>A positive attitude and a passion for working with kids.</li>
<li>Comfortable with incorporating thematics into classes, including telling stories, dressing up, and engaging in creative activities.</li>
</ul><div><b>WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:</b></div>
<ul><li><b>Coach Classes</b>: Deliver engaging gymnastics lessons, following our curriculum and themes while focusing on skill development, building children&rsquo;s confidence, and creating a fun, imaginative environment.</li>
<li><b>Evaluate Progress</b>: Monitor student development to ensure appropriate placement in the program, and celebrate achievements to inspire continued growth and confidence.</li>
<li><b>Communicate with Parents</b>: Keep families informed about their child&rsquo;s progress and upcoming events while fostering a welcoming, supportive connection with parents.</li>
<li><b>Maintain the Facility:</b> Keep the facility clean, safe, and organized for both children and staff.</li>
<li><b>Support Events</b>: Participate in Advancement Shows, Parent&rsquo;s Night Out, and Camp Jump! on AISD school closure days.</li>
<li><b>Uphold the Culture</b>: Promote Jump!&rsquo;s culture of fun and learning for children while contributing to a positive, team-oriented atmosphere among staff.</li>
</ul><div><b>A TYPICAL DAY AT JUMP! GYMNASTICS</b></div>
<ul><li><b>3:00 PM: Preparation</b>: Clock in, check your email, and get ready for an action-packed afternoon.</li>
<li><b>3:20 PM: Coaching:</b> Lead four 50-minute classes, each with 4-6 students. Between classes, you'll communicate with parents about their child's progress, track attendance and skills, and celebrate skills mastered.</li>
<li><b>7:20 PM: Administrative Tasks</b>: Check emails, write birthday cards, prep award ribbons, and reach out to students who&rsquo;ve missed a few classes.</li>
<li><b>7:30 PM: Cleaning:</b> Perform thorough cleaning of the facility, ensuring all equipment and areas are sanitized, organized, and ready for the next day.</li>
<li><b>7:45 PM: Departure</b>: Wrap up, check your email one last time, and clock out knowing you made a difference.</li>
</ul><div><b>EXCITING EXTRAS:</b></div>
<ul><li><b>Comprehensive Training:</b> We provide a 40-hour paid initial training program, including both in-house and online courses, to ensure you develop all the necessary skills. Ongoing training is offered monthly to continue your professional growth.</li>
<li><b>Monthly Staff Meetings:</b> Attend mandatory staff meetings, which may include theme training, idea sharing, and team-building activities. These meetings are scheduled to accommodate various needs, including Saturday sessions.</li>
<li><b>Parents&rsquo; Night Out:</b> Participate in exciting Friday night events throughout the year, offering parents a well-deserved break while kids have a memorable time.</li>
<li><b>Camp Jump!:</b> Be a part of our day camps during AISD school holidays, depending on your schedule.</li>
<li><b>Decor Days, Events &amp; Parties: </b>Help transform the gym for themed events and participate in special events and parties (available at select locations).</li>

</ul><div><b>REQUIREMENTS</b>:</div>
<ul><li>Must be 18 years of age or older.</li>
<li>High school diploma or equivalent required (Bachelor&rsquo;s degree for Manager roles).</li>
<li>Ability to pass a comprehensive background check.</li>
<li>Commitment to a consistent evening and Saturday schedule for a minimum of one year.</li>
<li>Must be able to work a minimum of two shifts a week from 3PM-8PM and Saturdays from 8:30AM-3PM</li>
</ul><div><b>PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS</b>:</div>
<ul><li>Ability to see and hear clearly 20 yards away.</li>
<li>Ability to provide sustained attention to students during class time in the gym.</li>
<li>Ability to stand, kneel, stoop, crouch, and climb onto a spotting block to assist athletes.</li>
<li>Ability to spot a gymnast, including the strength to lift and carry at minimum 50 pounds.</li>
<li>Ability to move equipment, including the strength to push or pull at minimum 50 pounds.</li>
<li>Must have the physical ability to respond quickly to emergencies, such as evacuating children or performing CPR/first aid if necessary.</li>
