Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of family law, along with excellent organizational and communication skills. As a Paralegal, you will play a crucial role in supporting attorneys by managing legal documentation, conducting research, and assisting with case preparation. This position requires a proactive approach to legal case management and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.Responsibilities<ul><li>Conduct interviews with clients to gather pertinent information for cases.</li><li>Assist attorneys in preparing for trials by organizing evidence and exhibits.</li><li>Review and transcribe legal documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal standards.</li><li>Perform document review to identify relevant information for ongoing cases.</li><li>Maintain organized files and records for all legal cases, ensuring easy access to information.</li><li>Draft contracts and other legal documents as required by the attorneys.</li><li>Conduct legal research on various topics related to family law and environmental law.</li><li>Assist in managing deadlines and schedules for court filings and other legal obligations.</li><li>Provide administrative support to the legal team as needed.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Proven experience as a Paralegal or in a similar role within a law firm or legal department.</li><li>Strong knowledge of family law and environmental law is preferred.</li><li>Excellent interviewing skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.</li><li>Proficient in document review processes and legal case management practices.</li><li>Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work.</li><li>Ability to transcribe documents accurately and efficiently.</li><li>Familiarity with administrative tasks within a legal setting is advantageous.</li><li>A degree in Paralegal Studies or related field is preferred but not required; relevant experience will be considered.</li></ul>Join our team and contribute your expertise as we strive to provide exceptional legal services to our clients!Job Type: Full-timePay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Schedule:<ul><li>Monday to Friday</li></ul>People with a criminal record are encouraged to applyWork Location: In person
