POSITION SUMMARYThe Smile Design Doctor is responsible for evaluating, planning, and performing cosmetic dental procedures, including smile makeovers, veneers, crowns, minimally invasive restorations, and full-mouth rehabilitation when necessary. This role requires excellent diagnostic ability, superior aesthetic judgment, and strong communication skills to guide patients through their smile transformation journey.The ideal candidate is a results-driven cosmetic dentist with high attention to detail, passion for aesthetics, and commitment to exceptional patient care.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESClinical Duties<ul><li>Perform comprehensive smile design evaluations (digital or manual).</li><li>Complete cosmetic procedures including veneers (composite &amp; porcelain), crowns, bridges, bonding, whitening, and Invisalign/clear aligner cases.</li><li>Design and approve treatment plans (standard and VIP packages).</li><li>Take or supervise clinical photography, digital impressions, and aesthetic measurements.</li><li>Review lab cases and collaborate with dental labs for high-quality results.</li><li>Ensure proper patient follow-up, post-op care, and clinical outcomes.</li></ul>Patient Interaction<ul><li>Provide patients with clear and confident explanations of their treatment options.</li><li>Communicate benefits, expected results, limitations, and risks.</li><li>Participate in emotional close techniques and support the sales team during consultations.</li><li>Maintain a positive, comforting, and professional chairside manner.</li></ul>Interdisciplinary Collaboration<ul><li>Work with the Treatment Plan Coordinator and Sales Team to convert consultations to cases.</li><li>Collaborate with dental assistants and clinical team to ensure smooth, efficient procedures.</li><li>Maintain communication with management regarding case flow, patient satisfaction, and clinical needs.</li></ul>Compliance &amp; Safety<ul><li>Ensure all procedures meet state regulatory requirements.</li><li>Maintain accurate charting, documentation, and patient records.</li><li>Follow OSHA, HIPAA, and infection-control protocols.</li><li>Contribute to continuous improvement of clinical workflows and patient experience.</li></ul>PERFORMANCE INDICATORS<ul><li>Case acceptance rate for smile makeovers</li><li>Quality and longevity of cosmetic restorations</li><li>Patient satisfaction and reviews</li><li>Procedure efficiency and daily production</li><li>Lab communication quality and timely approvals</li><li>Compliance with management and operational protocols</li></ul>QUALIFICATIONS<ul><li>DDS or DMD degree from an accredited institution</li><li>Active Florida Dental License (required)</li><li>Minimum 1&ndash;2 years of experience in cosmetic dentistry (preferred)</li><li>Skilled in veneer preps, aesthetic protocols, and smile design principles</li><li>Strong photography, digital design, and communication skills</li></ul>PREFERRED SKILLS<ul><li>Experience with veneer protocols, minimally invasive dentistry, and facial aesthetics</li><li>Familiarity with digital dentistry (iTero, 3Shape, or similar)</li><li>Ability to multitask in a fast-paced cosmetic practice</li><li>Team-oriented mindset with commitment to growth and excellence</li></ul>COMPENSATION<ul><li>Competitive per-case structure or daily rate (based on experience)</li><li>Bonus potential based on production</li><li>Access to in-house lab partners &amp; premium materials</li><li>Additional incentives for high-volume cases</li></ul>WHY JOIN OUR TEAM?<ul><li>High-volume aesthetic practice with constant leads</li><li>Modern facilities with cutting-edge technology</li><li>Supportive, fast-growing cosmetic brand with multiple locations</li><li>Opportunity for rapid growth, leadership, and advanced training</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $109,797.95 - $132,229.78 per yearWork Location: In person
