</p><p><b>Position Overview</b>:</p><p>
</p><p>Primarily responsible for executing the dispatch process that supports Operations. Provides exceptional customer service to customers and drivers.
</p><p></p><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Responsibilities:</b></h3><ul><li>
Provides excellent customer service to both internal and external customers.</li><li>
Responsible for carrier sourcing and development.</li><li>
Regularly and accurately dispatches customer-controlled freight.</li><li>
Responsible for verifying carriers are approved and meet all internal/external requirements.</li><li>
Optimize routing to be cost effective</li><li>
Acts as liaison for solving driver and carrier issues.</li><li>
Responsible for maintaining carrier and customer base.
</li><li>Performs other incidental and related duties as required.</li></ul><div><div><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Essential Skills/Experience</b></h3></div><div><p><br>
Strong experience with Microsoft Office</p></div><div><p><br>
