 Role Summary
 
 
 
 The Head of SEO will define and lead the overall organic growth strategy for the organization. This role goes beyond execution. It requires strategic leadership, cross-functional alignment, innovation, and performance ownership. You will be responsible for building a high-performing SEO team, driving sustainable traffic and lead growth, strengthening brand authority, and delivering measurable ROI from organic channels.
 
 
 
 
 
 You will work closely with Content, Tech, Performance Marketing, Brand, Admissions, and Leadership teams to position the organization as the top-ranking and most trusted K-12 brand in search.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Key Responsibilities
 
 
 
 
 1. Enterprise SEO Strategy &amp; Vision
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Define the long-term SEO vision aligned with business growth, admissions targets, and brand positioning.
 </li>
 <li>
 Develop annual and quarterly SEO roadmaps across technical, content, local, and authority-building initiatives.
 </li>
 <li>
 Identify new growth opportunities including AI search visibility, voice search, and emerging SERP features.
 </li>
 <li>
 Own SEO forecasting, budgeting, and ROI planning.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 2. Team Leadership &amp; Capability Building
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Build, mentor, and scale an in-house SEO team (technical SEO, content SEO, outreach).
 </li>
 <li>
 Establish SOPs, governance frameworks, and performance benchmarks.
 </li>
 <li>
 Drive a culture of experimentation, learning, and innovation within the team.
 </li>
 <li>
 Manage external agencies and vendor partnerships where applicable.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 3. Technical SEO Governance
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Oversee enterprise-level site architecture, indexation strategy, structured data implementation, and Core Web Vitals optimization.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure scalability across 110+ location pages and program-specific landing pages.
 </li>
 <li>
 Collaborate with Product &amp; Engineering to prioritize SEO within development sprints.
 </li>
 <li>
 Lead website migrations, domain strategy, and risk mitigation planning.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 4. Content &amp; Search Experience Leadership
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Define keyword universe and content clusters aligned with parent/student search intent.
 </li>
 <li>
 Guide editorial strategy using data-backed insights.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure strong internal linking architecture and conversion optimization.
 </li>
 <li>
 Leverage SEO insights to influence broader brand messaging and campaign strategy.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 5. Authority &amp; Reputation Management
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Develop large-scale white-hat digital PR and backlink acquisition strategies.
 </li>
 <li>
 Oversee brand reputation management and review strategy across 110+ campuses.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strengthen E-E-A-T signals across all digital assets.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 6. Multi-Location &amp; Local SEO Strategy
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Architect scalable local SEO frameworks for all campuses.
 </li>
 <li>
 Standardize Google Business Profile optimization and review management processes.
 </li>
 <li>
 Drive hyperlocal rankings for competitive education-related queries.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 7. Analytics, Insights &amp; Growth Optimization
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Define SEO KPIs tied directly to revenue and admissions.
 </li>
 <li>
 Build executive dashboards using GA4, GSC, and Looker Studio.
 </li>
 <li>
 Present monthly and quarterly performance insights to senior leadership.
 </li>
 <li>
 Lead CRO and SEO experimentation to continuously improve rankings, CTR, and lead conversions.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 Required Skills &amp; Qualifications
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 8+ years of progressive SEO experience, including at least 3+ years in a leadership role.
 </li>
 <li>
 Proven track record of scaling organic traffic and revenue for multi-location or enterprise websites.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong understanding of technical SEO at scale (large site architecture, schema, migrations).
 </li>
 <li>
 Hands-on experience with AI-driven SEO tools (e.g., DataForSEO) and execution of large-scale Programmatic SEO initiatives.
 </li>
 <li>
 Expertise in GA4, Google Search Console, Looker Studio, SEMrush/Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Tag Manager.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership skills.
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience managing large websites with 100+ location pages preferred.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strategic thinker with strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 Preferred Qualifications
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Experience in EdTech, Education, or multi-location consumer brands.
 </li>
 <li>
 Exposure to international SEO strategies.
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience working with CMS platforms and development teams.
 </li>
