As we continue to scale, we are looking for an Accounting Manager who wants to play a key role in building the financial infrastructure that supports that growth. This is not a maintenance role &mdash; this is an opportunity to help shape accounting processes, drive efficiency, and partner cross-functionally in a fast-moving SaaS environment.

The Opportunity
As Accounting Manager at K1X, you will be responsible for owning and improving core accounting operations while helping the company scale responsibly and efficiently. You&rsquo;ll work closely with Finance leadership and partner across teams to ensure accurate reporting, strong controls, and continuous process improvement.
What You&rsquo;ll Do
Revenue Recognition and Billing<ul><li>
Support order review and invoicing processes in alignment with ASC 606 for subscription-based revenue
</li><li>Partner with Sales and Client teams to ensure accurate and timely billing
</li></ul>Month-End Close and Financial Reporting<ul><li>
Own and improve month-end and year-end close processes
</li><li>Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules
</li><li>Assist in the preparation of financial statements
</li></ul>Accounting Operations<ul><li>
Oversee Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and collections processes
</li><li>Maintain accuracy and integrity of the general ledger
</li></ul>SaaS Metrics and Analysis<ul><li>
Support tracking and reporting of key SaaS metrics including MRR, ARR, churn, and NRR
</li><li>Partner with Finance leadership to provide insights that support decision-making
</li></ul>Compliance, Audit and Tax<ul><li>
Ensure compliance with US GAAP
</li><li>Support annual audit processes and external reporting requirements
</li><li>Assist with tax filings including 1099s and sales tax
</li></ul>Process Improvement and Automation<ul><li>
Identify opportunities to streamline and automate accounting workflows
</li><li>Help scale systems and processes to support company growth
</li></ul>Cross-Functional Partnership<ul><li>
Collaborate across departments to ensure timely and accurate financial data
</li><li>Support a strong culture of accountability and operational excellence</li></ul> 

Requirements 
<ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
</li><li>4+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in SaaS or a high-growth environment
</li><li>Strong knowledge of US GAAP, with experience in ASC 606 revenue recognition
</li><li>Experience with accounting systems such as NetSuite and strong Excel skills
</li><li>Ability to operate independently in a remote environment with strong communication skills
</li><li>CPA preferred but not required</li></ul>
