 Bobcat of St. Joe
 
 is looking to add a Diesel Mechanic. This role will be responsible for providing quality repair services on
 
 Bobcat
 
 equipment in order to meet customer needs in a responsive, friendly, educated, and timely manner. This includes performing basic diagnostics, service repairs, and maintenance work on customer and/or dealer-owned construction equipment. The technician will also be responsible for identifying problems with mechanical, hydraulic, diesel, and electrical systems and executing effective solutions.

 Responsibilities
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Provide quality repair services on construction equipment in order to meet customer needs in a responsive, friendly, educated, and timely manner
 </li>
 <li>
 Performs basic diagnostics, service repairs and maintenance work on customer and/or dealer-owned construction equipment
 </li>
 <li>
 Identifies problems with mechanical, hydraulic, diesel &amp; electrical systems and executes solutions
 </li>
 <li>
 Participates in Service Training programs for the development of skills and knowledge
 </li>
 <li>
 Document all repairs and testing for customer and warranty repairs
 </li>
 <li>
 Any other duties as outlined by the Service Supervisor and or management of the company.
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Qualifications
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 High school diploma or equivalent is required.
 </li>
 <li>
 2 year technical school graduate preferred.
 </li>
 <li>
 1-year fleet or dealership experience in a diesel shop is required; 3-5 years preferred.
 </li>
 <li>
 Must be a team player with a strong sense of commitment to the customer and service team.
 </li>
 <li>
 Must have an inventory of hand tools to facilitate the assigned repairs.
 </li>
 <li>
 Heavy equipment and or agricultural experience is a plus.
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Physical Requirements
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate construction equipment.
 </li>
 <li>
 Occasionally lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling 50-100 pounds and/or frequently lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling 20-50 pounds and/or continuous lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling 10-20 pounds
 </li>
 <li>
 Regularly required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, grasp or pull and lift objects. Occasionally required to sit, climb, and balance, kneel, stoop, crouch, and crawl
 </li>
 <li>
 Consistently exposed to outside weather conditions, fumes, and loud noise
 
 
 </li>
