We&rsquo;re transforming the way to make shipping fast and easier, more transparent, and cost-effective.We&rsquo;re seeking a driven and results-oriented Shipping Salesperson to grow our marketplace by on boarding shippers (exporters/importers, retailers, manufacturers, etc.) and shipping service providers (Shipping lines/Shipping Forwarders/Shipping agents) and expanding our customer base. The ideal candidate has experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or transportation tech sales and understands how to navigate complex shipping needs while offering value-driven solutions through our platform. The ideal candidate must have strong knowledge of the logistics and shipping industry and a proven track record in B2B platforms.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Prospecting &amp; Lead Generation: Identify and reach out to potential shipping industry users (B2B clients) who could benefit from using the platform.</li><li>Sales Outreach: Conduct cold calls, emails, demos, and in-person meetings to showcase the benefits of our shipping marketplace.</li><li>Customer On-boarding: Guide new users through account setup, creating interactive profile on the portal and also how to utilise the different service available on the marketplace to promote their shipping business globally.</li><li>Relationship Building: Maintain long-term relationships with clients, acting as their point of contact for shipping needs and platform usage.</li><li>Feedback Collection: Gather client insights and feedback to inform product and operational improvements.</li><li>Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, operations, and product teams to align sales strategies with customer needs and platform capabilities.</li><li>Community Engagement: Build and nurture online communities of shippers and carriers. respond to comments on social media advertise, messages, and mentions in a timely, helpful, and brand-consistent manner.</li><li>Campaigns &amp; Promotions: Collaborate with the marketing team on seasonal promotions, product development, and enhancing partner network. Create and manage Email-Campaigns using different tools like Mailchimp, Brevo, Mailjet etc.</li><li>Customer Network: Existing client network in the logistics/shipping industry</li><li>Industry Trends &amp; Competitor Monitoring: Stay up to date with shipping, logistics, and e-commerce trends.
