We are looking for a Materials Coordinator to join Kaiser Aluminum's at our Newark Ohio aluminum casting, extrusion and wire draw plant!
The Materials Coordinator is responsible for planning the 10&rdquo; Mill Production to meet customer demand and assist with other miscellaneous Materials Department tasks.
What you will work on:

<ul><li>Track capacity and forecast for Redraw Rod (RDR)</li>
<li>Book RDR orders</li>
<li>Create practices for RDR products</li>
<li>Create lots for orders</li>
<li>Schedule the RDR Mill</li>
<li>Manage bloom inventory</li>
<li>Request casting needs for blooms</li>
<li>Monitor packaging needs for RDR customers</li>
<li>Key participant in bi-annual Physical Inventory</li>
<li>Create lots for all log orders</li>
<li>Cross-trained to back-up Traffic Coordinator</li>
<li>Assist with cycle counting in Remelt as needed</li>
<li>Manage consignment prime inventory</li>
<li>75% office and 25% plant floor</li>
</ul>Requirements:
What you will bring to the role:
<ul>
<li>High School Diploma Required, Associates or Bachelors Degree Preferred
</li>
<li>Minimum 5 years of Manufacturing experience; Preferred Planning/Shipping experience
</li>
<li>Excellent Problem Solving Skills
</li>
<li>PC Skills including Windows, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Teams, ERP
</li>
<li>Excellent Communication Skills (written and verbal) and Organization Skills.
</li>
<li>Ability to work in Teams Environment
</li>
<li>Ability to Multi-Task
</li>
