Summary of Functions
 
The spa’s Esthetician responsibility is to deliver excellence in quality Spa services to guests/visitors in a timely, courteous and efficient manner. Escort clients to and from treatment rooms, attending to any immediate needs throughout their Spa visit. Assist in providing information to any inquiries and help coordinate all guest requests for services. Actively promote Spa Retail products and sales.
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

<li>Knowledge of all facial procedures and treatment protocols.</li>
<li>Ability to focus attention on guests needs, remaining calm and courteous.</li>
<li>Ability to remain quiet during treatment</li>
<li>Ability to promote positive relations with all individuals who approach the spa.</li>
<li>Ability to sell products through educating the guests regarding their skin care regime.</li>
<li>Ability to maintain confidentiality of all guests information</li>
<li>Ability to perform job functions with minimal supervision.</li>
<li>Ability to perform a minimum of six treatments per shift.</li>
<li>Ability to work cohesively with other departments and co-workers as part of a team.</li>
<li>Ability to access data in computer.</li>
<li>Start and end facial treatments on time.</li>
<li>Inquire about any contraindications before beginning service.</li>
<li>Set up work station with necessary supplies. Maintain cleanliness throughout shift.</li>
<li>Maintain supplies and products; secure after each shift.</li>
<li>Accommodate all guest requests expediently and courteously. Follow up to ensure completion of request.</li>
<li>Handle guest complaints and ensuring guest satisfaction.</li>
<li>Maintain cleanliness of Spa.</li>
<li>Dispose of any dirty linens to the proper area.</li>
<li>Perform any task deemed necessary by management</li>
<li>Complete requisitions for additional supplies/materials and submit to Spa Management.</li>
<li>Attend all required meetings and training sessions.</li>
<li>Ensures compliance with the Kalispel Tribe of Indians- State of Washington Gaming Compact, Internal Controls, NIGC Regulations and Northern Quest Policies and Procedures.</li>
<li>Request and lead training.</li>
<li>Develop/revise protocols as needed.</li>
<li>Inventory supplies.</li>
<li>Place orders for functional area.</li>
<li>Track professional product expirations</li>
<li>Maintain training logs as training is done.</li>
<li>Responsible for maintaining a good attendance record.</li>
<li>May be required to be a panelist for the Internal Review Hearings.</li>

</ul>
Supervisory Responsibilities
 
Support the Spa Director and Spa Manager in day-to-day spa operations ensuring maintenance of our Forbes Four Star Rating, support of our Core Purpose and Core Values, efficient operations, positive team morale and revenue maximization within the Esthetics team and the greater spa team as a whole. This position is responsible for basic oversight of Esthetics team members. This position carries out basic supervisory responsibilities in accordance with NQRC policies and procedures, applicable laws and regulations and Spa department SOPs. Responsibilities are limited and only include:
 
<ul>
<li>Assume Manager-on-Duty responsibilities one (1) day per week to include covering for call-ins, vacations, illness as a Spa Concierge and/or Spa Attendant, completing Daily Exceptions Report, other duties as required; may assume additional MOD shifts in the absence (such as vacation) of the Spa Manager.</li>
<li>Work with Spa Manager to create, submit and post weekly Esthetician schedule to best meet business and guest (internal and external) needs.</li>
<li>Communicate all required Esthetician team member trainings for new/existing Team Members to Spa Manager and assist with training, scheduling, documentation and coordination.</li>
<li>Ensure all esthetic protocols are up to date and current at all times; develop new protocols when new services are introduced in cooperation with Spa Management.</li>
<li>Conduct monthly inventory of all backbar products and equipment and place orders via Ereq system as needed.</li>
<li>Share the Resort Report with Esthetic team during scheduled shifts.</li>
</ul>
Education
 
<ul>
<li>High school diploma or general education degree (GED).</li>
<li>Must have completed esthetics training existing clientele.</li>
</ul>
Experience
 
<ul>
<li>Minimum 5 years experience in a luxury spa/resort setting.</li>
<li>Preference to candidates with existing clientele</li>
</ul>
Skills
 
<ul>
<li>Excellent guest service delivery.</li>
<li>Knowledge of skincare, waxing and Make Up treatments and products.</li>
<li>One to three years experience in a similar position in the Spa/Salon industry.</li>
<li>Ability to pleasantly communicate with proper grammar.</li>
<li>Ability to provide legible communication.</li>
<li>Basic knowledge of computers.</li>
</ul>
Other Requirements
 
<ul>
<li>Ability to obtain and maintain a Tribal Work Permit.</li>
<li>Certified in Basic First Aid and CPR</li>
<li>State cosmetology license is required</li>
<li>Esthetics certification is preferred.</li>
<li>Mandatory Alcohol Server Training (MAST) certification.</li>
<li>Available and willing to work nights, weekends and holidays as required.</li>
<li>Hepatitis B shots.</li>
</ul>
Physical Demands
 
<ul>
<li>Requires the ability to lift and/or move objects weighing up to 15 pounds.</li>
<li>Most work tasks are performed indoors. Temperature is moderate and controlled by environmental systems.</li>
<li>Must be able to stand up to 6 hours per day. Length of time of these tasks may vary.</li>
<li>Requires standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity.</li>
<li>Speaking and listening occur continuously in the process of communicating with guests and co-workers.</li>

Summary of Functions and Purpose
 
Provides fire prevention and suppression, emergency medical services, rescue, disaster response, and hazardous material mitigation for the purpose of saving lives and protecting property. This position also supports a wide range of department programs as assigned.
 
Reporting Relationships
 
The Firefighter is assigned a work schedule determined by the Department and reports directly to the Assistant Chief. The Assistant Chief guides the daily work of the firefighter, with the Chief setting overall work priorities and conducting performance evaluations in consultation with the Assistant Chief.
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
 The Firefighter performs a combination of emergency and non-emergency duties as follows:
 A. Emergency Duties
 <ul>
<li>Responds to a wide variety of fire incidents such as brush fires, vehicle fire and structure fires.</li>
<li>Responds to a wide variety of emergency medical incidents. Provides medical care to patients consistent with EMS training and certification.</li>
<li>Respond to incidents requiring special operations and assist consistent with the level of training as determined by the department.</li>
</ul>
B. Non-Emergency duties
 <ul>
<li>Conducts equipment, facility, and apparatus inspections to ensure safety and response readiness.</li>
<li>Assists with coordinating and preparing a variety of plans, reports, presentations, and records.</li>
<li>Assists with control issue of occupancy permits and similar licenses.</li>
<li>Participates in Department/Tribal sponsored public events or activities.</li>
<li>Other duties and special projects as assigned.</li>
</ul>
Supervisory Responsibilities
 
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
 
Qualifications
 
<ul>
<li>Basic knowledge of the Kalispel Tribe of Indians and the reservation.</li>
<li>Associate degree (A.A.) from a two-year college or technical school; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.</li>
<li>Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.</li>
<li>Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.</li>
<li>Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.</li>
<li>Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.</li>
<li>Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.</li>
<li>Knowledge of basic computer skills.</li>
<li>Valid driver’s license and be eligible for automobile insurance.</li>
<li>Must be able to pass a Child Abuse and Neglect (CAN) background check.</li>
<li>Must successfully pass drug screening and Tribal Gaming Agency Level III background investigation.</li>
</ul>

<li>Certified Fire Fighter I (IFSAC or State Equivalent).</li>
<li>Current Certification as Washington State Emergency Medical Technician (or must be obtained prior to start date)</li>
<li>Current Wildland Firefighter II</li>
<li>ICS 100 and 200, NIMS 700 and 800</li>
</ul>

<li>This position requires significant amounts of work to be performed outside general business hours. Significant weekends, shiftwork and on-call status are also required.</li>
