Execute Kalmar Sourcing Supplier Development processes, tools and strategies, to Continuously improve Suppliers performance to mitigate risks in terms of Quality , Delivery , Capacity and Sustainability.</p></div></div><div><div><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Main tasks and responsibilities</b></h2></div><div><ul><li>
To take the lead to be responsible for supplier development activities within pre-production, up to and including start of production.</li><li>
Maintaining, improving and continuously developing supplier&rsquo;s quality and delivery performance in line with the Category Strategy.</li><li>
Manages the part and process assurance in line with project targets and timing.</li><li>
Working closely with all stakeholders and managing the decision process to move suppliers into escalation.</li><li>
Perform necessary audits to improve underperforming suppliers in line with supplier improvement strategy.</li><li>
To support Category Strategy and suppliers in Continuous improvement workshops by applying Lean methodology and tools. To take the lead in to proactive activities to improve Quality, Capability, Capacity and cost reduction workshops with suppliers</li></ul></div></div><div><div><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
What you&rsquo;ll need to succeed</b></h2></div><div><p>
Education</p>
B.Sc. , M.Sc. In <ul><li>-Engineering - quality , process and production or MBA preferred or equivalent experience</li></ul><p>
Experience</p><ul><li>
min 3-5 years of experience in supplier development, supplier quality, supply chain management, and/or manufacturing/process engineering in a component manufacturing company with a strong quality mindset.</li><li>
Knowledge and proven ability to apply lean philosophy to improve processes and systems to improve quality, delivery, capacity to reduce cost and increase profitability and customer value.</li><li>
Proven capability in technical problem solving and effective project management.</li><li>
Experience of capacity planning and supply chain management</li><li>
Experience of quality assurance with suppliers.</li><li>
Experience within steel structures fabrication processes and requirements of ISO 3834-2</li></ul><p>
Competencies</p><ul><li>
Proven competencies within steel fabrication products and it&rsquo;s production processes, including good understanding of NDT methods</li><li>
Continual improvement mindset, supplier change leadership and management with process focus</li><li>
Lean tools such as PDCA ,VSM, 5S , JIT is mandatory</li><li>
Production-, Manufacturing-, Quality assurance and systems skills</li><li>
Supplier Quality assurance ( such as QAP/SQAP/PQAP/APQP / PPAP or similar)</li><li>
Systems ( Google sheets , Google slides and Google docs , Project management tools )</li><li>
Proven ability to work effectively in matrix organization to lead and influence others</li><li>
ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 and relevant ISO standards (eg. ISO 3834-2)</li><li>
Experience of communication with diverse cultures and nationalities.</li><li>

Supplier Development Engineer

The purpose of this position is to support the development, implementation, and certification of safety processes for Terminal Tractors. This role is responsible for providing expert guidance on safety throughout the entire product lifecycle, from design to decommissioning.</p></div></div><div><div><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
What are your key responsibilities:</b></h2></div><p></p><div><p><b><br>
Own the functional safety concept for our automated terminal tractor platform:</b></p><br>
<p></p><ul><li>
Lead safety case development for compliance with all related standards.</li><li>
Perform and oversee safety analyses such as HARA, FMEA, FTA, and FMEDA with engineering teams and suppliers.</li><li>
Validate and verify that safety systems meet all specified requirements and performance levels.</li><li>
Act as the authority on safety-critical decisions &mdash; including the power to mandate design changes.</li><li>
Collaborate cross-functionally with electrical, mechanical, software, and validation teams to ensure end-to-end system safety.</li></ul><p></p><p><b><br>
Standards and Compliance:</b></p><br>

Serve as the primary subject matter expert for the safety of autonomous systems, with a deep focus on UL 4600 and ISO 26262.</li><li>
Develop and maintain a safety case for autonomous products in accordance with UL 4600.</li><li>
Apply the principles of ISO 26262 to the functional safety of electrical and electronic (E/E) systems.</li><li>
Coordinate with 3rd party certifying agencies by preparing all necessary documentation for external safety certification.</li></ul><p></p><p><b><br>
Documentation and Traceability:</b></p><br>

Create and maintain comprehensive safety documentation, including safety manuals, risk assessment reports, and technical files.</li><li>
Develop and implement a safety requirements traceability matrix to link safety requirements to design, validation, and verification activities.</li><li>

Experience performing or reviewing HARA, FMEDA, FMEA, and fault trees.</li><li>
Comfortable working with requirements management tools (e.g. Jama, DOORS, Jira/Confluence)</li></ul><p></p><p><b><br>
Competencies:</b></p><p></p><ul><li><br>
Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a strong attention to detail.</li><li>Proficiency in using documentation tools and software (e.g., Google Suite, Adobe Acrobat,</li></ul><p>
