SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS:Coordinates activities involved with pricing and issuing PO&rsquo;s for items such as inter-company purchases, hardware, and packaging.MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:&#159; Issues PO&rsquo;s for inter-company build to print purchases.&#159; Act as single point of contact for all Kamet overseas sites.&#159; Creates PO&rsquo;s for hardware and packaging items from purchase requisitions.&#159; Work with Kamet drivers regarding pickup and delivery needs.&#159; Provide customer service with any delivery updates based on manufacturing delays from China facility. &#159;Maintain ERP system for accuracy which includes supplier re-commit dates.&#159; Maintains a 90%+ OTD for specified commodities.&#159; Responsible for handling discrepant material concerns at incoming receiving.&#159; Handle any invoicing issues in a timely manner as to not delay payment.ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS:Production, Quality, Shipping and ReceivingEXPERIENCE AND/OR EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:&#159; Must have 2 year of purchasing experience in manufacturing and production environment, preferably in machine shop industry.&#159; Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within the machine shop industry. &#159;Demonstrated ability to work well with diverse workforce.&#159; Excellent verbal and written communication skill.
