We are currently seeking a highly motivated and organized Assistant Plant Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting plant operations, ensuring efficiency, and contributing to the overall success of our facility. This position requires a hands-on approach, strong leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate with various teams to meet production goals.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:&middot; Assist the Plant Manager in overseeing day-to-day operations, including production schedules, resource allocation, and workflow management&middot; Implement and maintain standardized operating procedures to optimize efficiency&middot; Supervise and motivate production staff to achieve performance goals&middot; Work closely with the safety team to enforce and promote a strong safety culture&middot; Conduct regular safety meetings, inspections, and drills to ensure a safe working environment&middot; Ensure all products meet or exceed quality and customer standards&middot; Participate in regular quality inspections and address any issues promptly&middot; Collaborate with logistics teams to ensure timely and efficient supply chain operations&middot; Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost-saving initiatives&middot; Foster a positive and collaborative work environment&middot; Assist in training new employees and providing ongoing support to the teamThis list of duties is not intended to be all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties or responsibilities that senior management may deem necessary.Qualifications/Skills: &middot; Bachelor's degree in Operations, Business, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience) preferred&middot; Proven experience in supervisory or leadership role within a manufacturing environment&middot; Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, safety protocols, and quality standards&middot; Excellent communication and interpersonal skills&middot; Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite&middot; Problem-solving and decision-making abilities with a focus on continuous improvement&middot; Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a desirable skill in this position.Job Type: Full-timePay: From $75,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Management: 5 years (Required)</li></ul>Language:<ul><li>Spanish (Preferred)</li></ul>License/Certification:<ul><li>Forklift Certification (Preferred)</li></ul>Ability to Commute:<ul><li>Council Bluffs, IA 51501 (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
