The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for the overall technical management of the generator fleet, including mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting, planning, and record keeping. The role ensures generator reliability, compliance, and efficient fleet utilization.<ul><li>Strong understanding of diesel engine systems and generator mechanics.</li><li>Good planning, documentation, and record-keeping skills.</li><li>Ability to analyse faults and implement corrective actions.</li><li>Strong coordination and communication skills.</li></ul>Responsibilities<ul><li>Oversee the mechanical condition and performance of the entire generator fleet.</li><li>Troubleshoot mechanical issues and support major breakdowns.</li><li>Plan and monitor preventive maintenance schedules for all generators.</li><li>Maintain accurate service history, maintenance records, and technical logs for each generator.</li><li>Coordinate repairs, overhauls, and inspections with internal teams and external vendors.</li><li>Support commissioning, decommissioning, and deployment of generators.</li><li>Ensure compliance with safety, operational, and manufacturer standards.</li><li>Provide technical guidance to technicians and operations staff when required.</li></ul>Qualifications:Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant technical certification in a related field.Job Type: Full-timePay: RO150.000 - RO350.000 per month

Mechanic - KER Oman

The generator technician will be primarily responsible for the inspection, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of generator electrical systems, with particular focus on the DC side. The role also requires willingness and capability to support mechanical works related to generators when required.<ul><li>Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.</li><li>Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Basic working knowledge of mechanical systems related to generators.</li><li>Willingness to work flexible hours and attend emergency breakdowns.</li></ul>Responsibilities<ul><li>Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults in diesel generators, including DC charging systems, batteries, control wiring, sensors, AVR, and control panels.</li><li>Carry out testing, commissioning, and fault rectification at site and workshop.</li><li>Support mechanical servicing and minor mechanical repairs as required.</li><li>Attend breakdown calls and ensure timely resolution of generator issues.</li><li>Perform preventive maintenance in line with company standards and OEM guidelines.</li><li>Prepare service and breakdown reports and maintain accurate documentation.</li><li>Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company procedures.</li></ul>Qualifications:Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a recognized Technical Qualification in a related field.Job Type: Full-timePay: RO150.000 - RO350.000 per month
