 A rapidly growing manufacturer is seeking a Safety Manager to lead health, safety, and compliance programs across three local facilities &mdash; a converting plant, a plastics manufacturing operation, and a warehouse.
 
 
 
 
 
 This is a hands-on leadership role for a safety professional who thrives on visibility, influence, and continuous improvement. You&rsquo;ll have the opportunity to shape safety culture, build programs from the ground up, and make a measurable impact as the company expands its footprint, adds automation, and brings new facilities online.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Key Responsibilities
 
 
 
 &middot; Own and enhance safety programs, procedures, and training across all sites
 
 
 &middot; Conduct audits, inspections, and job hazard analyses to ensure compliance and continuous improvement
 
 
 &middot; Lead investigations, identify root causes, and drive preventive and corrective actions
 
 
 &middot; Partner with operations and maintenance leaders to embed safety into daily performance
 
 
 &middot; Track key safety metrics and present insights to plant and corporate leadership
 
 
 &middot; Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and state regulations
 
 
 &middot; Develop and lead emergency response plans and onboarding programs
 
 
 &middot; Be a visible, trusted safety presence across all facilities
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Qualifications
 
 
 
 &middot; Degree or certification in safety, environmental science, or a related field preferred
 
 
 &middot; 3+ years of experience in EHS or safety management within manufacturing or industrial settings
 
 
 &middot; Strong understanding of OSHA standards and compliance frameworks
 
 
 &middot; Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
 
 
 &middot; Comfortable working in fast-paced, hands-on environments
 
 
 &middot; Skilled at building safety engagement and accountability at every level
 
 
 
 
 
 
 What&rsquo;s Offered
 
 
 
 &middot; $85,000 &ndash; $120,000 annual base salary (based on experience)
 
 
 &middot; Comprehensive benefits package and 401(k) with company match
