Job Summary Kansas City Urology Care is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a unique role combining weekend hospital rounding with evening at-home call coverage. This position offers strong work-life structure, specialty training in urology, and collaborative team environment.Duties<ul><li>Round on patients at multiple hospitals</li><li>Evaluate and manage patients in the hospital and emergency department</li><li>Collaborate closely with the on-call urologist</li><li>Respond to after-hours calls from hospitals and emergency departments</li><li>Perform urgent overnight evaluations as needed</li><li>Learn and perform basic urologic procedures (training provided)</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)</li><li>Strong clinical judgment and multitasking ability</li><li>Excellent communication and teamwork skills</li><li>Compassionate, patient-centered approach</li><li>Urology or acute care experience preferred, but not required</li></ul>Schedule<ul><li>No clinical work from Monday morning through Thursday afternoon/evening</li><li>Evening call coverage begins Thursday evening (from home)</li><li>Hospital rounding: Every Saturday and Sunday</li><li>Call coverage (from home): Thursday-Sunday evenings</li><li>Time off: 4 weekends off per year</li><li>Occasional overnight in-person evaluations fur urgent/emergent cases</li></ul>Pay: From $130,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Flexible spending account</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Health savings account</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Work Location: In person
