</div></div><div></div><div><b>LEARNING OBJECTIVES :</b></div>
<div>The Graphic Design Internship serves as an opportunity to receive hands-on training in the Marketing Department. The Graphic Design Intern will assist with the creation and design of campaigns and special projects for the Kansas City Zoo &amp; Aquarium. This position will primarily focus on graphic design but may assist and complete work in the areas of public relations, special events, and other digital marketing.</div>
<div></div><div><b>TIME COMMITMENT:</b></div>
<div>This is a 2-month summer internship, working up to 40 hours per week. The schedule for this internship is primarily Monday-Friday, 8:30-5:00pm, but it may occasionally require weekend or evening hours. Specific start and end dates may vary based upon individual availability and departmental needs.</div>

<div>Interns are responsible for arranging their own transportation and housing.</div><br>

<div></div><div><b>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:</b></div>
<div><ul><li><b>EDUCATION &amp; FORMAL TRAINING:</b>
<div><ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent preferred.</li></ul>
</div></li></ul><ul><li><b>EXPERIENCE:</b>
<div><ul><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Some experience using Adobe Creative Cloud; specifically Photoshop, Illustrator and/or Indesign.</li></ul>
</div></li></ul><ul><li><b>OTHER MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:</b>
<div><ul><li>Must have valid driver&rsquo;s license.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays and evening hours, in all weather extremes.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Can move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds, with or without assistance. Assistance depending upon task.</li></ul>
