The motion graphics artist is responsible for basic animation and illustration efforts on video projects. The motion graphics artist works in a visual style in concert with client, brand standards, and learning best practices while collaborating with other specialists (producers, sound engineers, editors) to ensure that animations are well-incorporated into final videos. The motion graphics artist also frequently collaborates with subject matter experts to ensure accurate content and creative visualizations of educational concepts.</div><div></div><div>
The motion graphics artist interprets and iterates new ideas into various draft forms, working with the media team and stakeholders to develop a new model of video that effectively achieves the project&rsquo;s aims and provides clear updates to the team on progress, and excellent customer service to stakeholders.</div><div></div><div>
Primary Responsibilities</div><ul><li><div>
Create informational animated graphics with the Adobe Creative Suite and other available tools</div></li><li><div>
Collaborate with team members (producers and editors) to seamlessly integrate motion graphic designs into final video products.</div></li><li><div>
Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure effective teaching in our media products.</div></li><li><div>
Use brand standards for educational motion graphics.</div></li><li><div>
Deliver illustrated assets to team members and external stakeholders.</div></li><li><div>
Assist with team pre-production and production needs for video shoots as needed.</div></li><li><div>
Hybrid Schedule: 3 days remote / 2 days in office</div></li><li><div>

Minimum Qualifications</div><ul><li>
Bachelor's Degree in Animation, Illustration, or other Art/Media fields</li><li>
1+ years experience in Media Production</li><li>
Media production expertise, most predominantly fluency in animation/illustration softwares and Adobe Suite in particular.</li><li>
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud, especially After Effects,Illustrator, and Premiere Pro.</li><li>
Ability to learn and responsibly apply AI-assisted creative tools (e.g., asset generation, visual ideation, automated cleanup or layout tools).</li><li>
Strong organizational skills and the ability to work in structured digital pipelines</li></ul><div></div><div>
Preferred Qualifications</div><ul><li><div>
Experience with educational video, eLearning, or visual explanation design.</div></li><li><div>
Strong motion design, illustration, and video editing skills using Adobe Creative Cloud.</div></li><li><div>
Ability to work with AI-enhanced tools to speed up ideation, design, and production (image cleanup, concepting, templating, masking/rotoscoping assist, etc.).</div></li><li><div>
