Job Summary:

Required Skills:

<li>BS in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent practical experience</li>
<li>5-7 years of experience architecting and building production PHP applications</li>
<li>5-7 years of experience with MySQL, relational database and query design</li>
<li>Experience of designing database and optimizing queries for MongoDB</li>
<li>Experience in developing web applications using JavaScript, HTML, CSS</li>
<li>Experience in developing front-end applications using React</li>
<li>Experience of maintaining PHP applications on base of Drupal CMS</li>
<li>Experience with the design, development and implementation of high throughput and large-scale RESTful web services</li>
<li>Experience increasing the adoption of unit tests and code validation techniques to assure deliverables are of high quality and ready for test</li>
<li>Deep understanding of the security web applications (Injection, Broken Authentication, Sensitive Data Exposure, Broken Access Control, Security Misconfiguration, Cross Site Scripting, Using components with Known Vulnerabilities and etc.)</li>
<li>Experience with containerized environments (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes)</li>
<li>Skills of developing and maintaining applications in the AWS environment</li>
<li>Knowledge of ALM suites such as JIRA and GitLab</li>
<li>Highly effective communication skills (both written and verbal)</li>
<li>Extensive knowledge of working in an Agile/Scrum environment</li></ul> 


Desired Skills:

Position Overview: 
 
The Instructional Designer will design, develop, and implement engaging learning experiences for Kaseya employees and customers. This role combines expertise in adult learning theory, instructional design methodologies, and technology to create high-quality training content that drives knowledge retention and performance improvement.
 
Key Responsibilities:
 
<ul><li>Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to assess training needs and define learning objectives.
</li><li>Design and develop learning programs, including e-learning modules, instructor-led training (ILT), webinars, and blended learning solutions.
</li><li>Apply instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM) to create effective learning experiences.
</li><li>Develop storyboards, scripts, and interactive learning activities.
</li><li>Create assessments, evaluations, and metrics to measure training effectiveness.
</li><li>Ensure all training materials are consistent with Kaseya brand and standards.
</li><li>Stay current with instructional design trends, learning technologies, and best practices.
</li><li>Support Learning Management System (LMS) administration as needed.</li></ul> 

Qualifications:
 
 
<ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Learning &amp; Development, or related field (Master's preferred).
</li><li>3&ndash;5 years of instructional design experience, ideally in technology or SaaS environments.
</li><li>Proficiency with e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Captivate, Camtasia).
</li><li>Experience with LMS platforms (e.g., Docebo, Cornerstone, or similar).
</li><li>Strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design models, and curriculum development.
</li><li>Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills.
