Position: HR Manager Organization: Waste-picker-focused Social Enterprise Location: Pune, Maharashtra Employment Type: Full-timeAbout the Organizations We work to strengthen the livelihoods of waste-pickers by creating sustainable income opportunities, promoting social security, and ensuring access to welfare services. Our ecosystem includes field teams, community workers, administrative units, and livelihood-support operations.Role Summary The HR Manager will lead end-to-end human resource functions, build people-centric systems, and support capacity development across the organization. The role requires strong HR expertise with labour law knowledge, a social-sector orientation, and the ability to work closely with field teamsKey Responsibilities<ul><li>Lead recruitment, onboarding, and workforce planning for field and office teams.</li><li>Develop and implement HR policies, performance management systems, and staff welfare practices.</li><li>Facilitate training, capacity building, and leadership development across organizations.</li><li>Ensure compliance with labour laws, organizational policies, and social-sector standards.</li><li>Support employee relations, grievance handling, and conflict resolution.</li><li>Maintain HR records, MIS, and data consistency across all organizational units.</li><li>Coordinate welfare initiatives and benefits for staff where applicable.</li><li>Strengthen organizational culture aligned with dignity, equity, and community-centric values.</li></ul>Required Qualifications &amp; Competencies<ul><li>Postgraduate degree in HRM, Social Work, or related field.
