Job Title: Government Relations Officer (UAE National)Location: Dubai Mall, Dubai, UAEIndustry: Restaurant / Food &amp; BeverageJob SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented UAE National Government Relations Officer to manage and oversee all government-related processes for our restaurant in Dubai Mall. The role ensures compliance with UAE laws and regulations, supports HR and operations with documentation and clearances, and maintains strong relationships with government entities. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in UAE labor, immigration, and municipality procedures, and capable of handling day-to-day governmental requirements efficiently and professionally.⸻Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Handle all activities related to the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA), Ministry of Human Resources &amp; Emiratisation (MOHRE), Dubai Municipality, Dubai Economy, and other relevant government bodies.</li><li>Process visa applications, renewals, cancellations, and Emirates ID procedures for employees.</li><li>Assist with corporate documents including trade license renewals, establishment cards, and company registration updates.</li><li>Manage approvals and permits required for restaurant operations, such as food handling permits, municipality approvals, and health &amp; safety compliance.</li><li>Support HR with labour contracts, offer letters, work permits, and employee onboarding documentation.</li><li>Ensure compliance with Dubai Mall and Emaar guidelines for operational requirements, staff access permits, and security protocols.</li><li>Handle government inspections and ensure the restaurant meets all applicable rules and regulations.</li><li>Maintain organized records, follow up on deadlines, and ensure timely completion of all government processes.</li><li>Represent the company professionally during government visits, inquiries, or inspections.</li><li>Stay updated with changes in UAE laws, regulations, and government portals such as TASHEEL, AMER, ICP, and Dubai Municipality systems.</li><li>Provide periodic reports on visa status, renewals, fines (if any), and compliance updates.</li></ul>⸻Qualifications &amp; Requirements<ul><li>UAE National (mandatory).</li><li>Proven experience as a Government Relations Officer, preferably in the F&amp;B or hospitality industry.</li><li>Strong knowledge of UAE labour law, visa procedures, and government portals.</li><li>Excellent communication skills in Arabic and English.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple tasks with accuracy and confidentiality.</li><li>Strong organizational and time-management skills.</li><li>Professional, reliable, and able to work independently.</li><li>Familiarity with Dubai Mall operational requirements is an advantage.</li></ul>⸻Work Conditions<ul><li>Location: Dubai Mall</li><li>Industry: Food &amp; Beverage / Restaurant</li><li>Full-time role with onsite presence</li><li>Competitive salary + benefits</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: AED5,000.00 per monthApplication Question(s):<ul><li>Can you join immediately?</li><li>Do you have a family book?</li><li>Can you speak English and Arabic fluently?</li></ul>
