College hours, high school diploma or GED
Professional, friendly, polite demeanor
Handle confidential information
Excellent organization, communication, and interpersonal skills
Proficient typing, word processing, and file maintenance skills 
Primary Purpose: 
Serve as initial contact with patrons, parents, and others through telephone communications. 
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
 <div><ul><li>Handle all telephone communication.
 </li></ul><ul><li>Sort and distribute incoming mail.
 </li></ul><ul><li>Place long distance calls for faculty.
 </li></ul><ul><li>Assist office staff as needed.
 </li></ul><ul><li>Take messages.
 </li></ul><ul><li>Screen calls.
 </li></ul><ul><li>Take calls for homework and distribute to teachers.
</li></ul></div>Equipment Used: 
Personal computer, typewriter, printer, copier, and fax machine. 
Working Conditions: 
Work with frequent interruptions, maintain emotional control under stress. Repetitive hand motions.
